STOCKX

Community Guidelines

Purpose

Welcome to the StockX global community. Whether you’re buying, selling, or hosting a live stream, trust matters.

These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) explain what is allowed, what is not allowed, and how we keep our marketplace safe and fair for everyone. They apply to everything that happens on our platform, including listings, messages, live streams, and other interactions between users. StockX is not responsible for transactions or conversations that take place outside of our platform.

We created these guidelines to build a marketplace where integrity, fairness, and respect come first. Our goal is to protect the marketplace for buyers, sellers, brands, and partners. The guidelines are also aligned with and support global laws and regulation requirements in countries where StockX operates. By using StockX, and agreeing to our Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”), you agree to follow these Guidelines, and any other additional policies referenced within. We include examples throughout this document to help explain the rules. These examples are meant to guide you, but they do not cover every possible situation.

As our marketplace evolves, we may update these Guidelines to reflect new features, new risks, new legal requirements, or feedback from the community. If you continue to use the platform after updates are posted, you agree to the latest version.

Scope

This policy applies to:

• All individuals and organizations accessing or using the StockX platform in any capacity.
• Third-party service providers, vendors, and business partners operating under a StockX agreement.

This policy does not supersede applicable local, state, or federal laws or regulations. Where conflicts exist, legal requirements shall take precedence.

Guidelines

Honesty First

StockX is built on integrity and trust. You must honestly represent your products, your identity, and your activity on the platform. You may only sell genuine products that you have the legal right to sell.

Accurate Listings & Images

Listings must clearly describe the item so buyers receive exactly what they expect. Photos and media must accurately show the item for sale. Whenever possible, use photos of the actual item.

If the item is standardized or factory sealed, you may use StockX official images, but they must not mislead buyers about the item’s condition or contents. You must also include at least one photo of the sealed item you have. You may not include retailer photos or any images that you don’t have permission to use.

Representative images may not be used for pre-owned, altered, or condition-sensitive items. Sellers remain responsible for ensuring that all images accurately reflect the specific item offered.

You may not hide or downplay damage such as sole separation, cracks, tears, stains, strong odors (like smoke or mold), or other visible defects. If an item has been worn, repaired, or altered, you must clearly say so in the description. Leaving out important details is considered misleading.

Material image enhancements, including AI-assisted editing that alters how the item appears, must not misrepresent authenticity, ownership, availability, or condition. AI-generated product renders depicting items not physically owned or available for sale are prohibited.

Honest Behavior

Honesty also applies to your behavior. Scamming, spamming, cheating, using bots for an unfair advantage, selling accounts, creating fake listings, manipulating transactions or impersonating a person, business, brand, or StockX representative is not allowed. Other forms of marketplace manipulation that are considered deceptive behavior include but are not limited to bidding on your own listings, coordinating with others to inflate prices or ratings, creating artificial engagement in Live streams, using related or duplicate accounts to influence activity and misusing reporting systems.

For more information, please see our [Counterfeit & Fraudulent Content Policy].

Respect Each Other

StockX is a global community built on shared passion and mutual respect. Our users come from diverse backgrounds and may have different perspectives and tolerances. Treat others with respect in every interaction. Disagreements may happen. When they do, keep them focused on the product, pricing, or transaction details, not personal attacks.

No Hate or Harassment

Do not post or share content that attacks or degrades people based on who they are. This includes slurs, harmful stereotypes, hate symbols, or content that promotes discrimination. You also may not target other users with threats, intimidation, sexual harassment, doxxing, or coordinated efforts to disrupt their business.

For more information, please see our [Hate & Harassment Policy].

Restrictions on Violence and Dangerous Behavior

Content that promotes violence, illegal activity, or unsafe behavior is not allowed. You may not post violent threats, encourage harm, promote extremist ideas, or glorify terrorism. Content that encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders is also prohibited.

During live streams, you may not handle weapons, act violently, or behave in a way that puts yourself or others at risk. Streaming while driving, or appearing too intoxicated to act safely, may result in your stream being ended and further action on your account.

For more information, please see our [Violence & Dangerous Behavior Policy].

Restrictions on Graphic & Sexual Content

Obscene content is not allowed. This includes graphic violence, gore, or explicit sexual content. Nudity and sexually suggestive behavior are also not permitted. Clothing shown in listings or live streams must be appropriate for a general audience.

For more information, please see our [Graphic & Sexual Content Policy].

Respect the Platform

StockX is designed to provide a safe and trusted marketplace for approved product categories. Only items that are safe, legal, tangible, and fall within a current site category may be listed for sale.

Eligible Products & Category Requirements

Items that do not fit within an existing category are not permitted. Sellers must ensure that their products align with the intended scope of the category in which they are offered for sale. Listings that attempt to misclassify an item in order to bypass category rules may be removed.

Certain categories, such as footwear, apparel, and accessories, may allow for items that are not yet included in the site catalog. In these cases, items must still clearly fit within the defined scope of the category and comply with all applicable product standards and policies.

StockX reserves the right to determine whether an item qualifies for listing within a category and may remove listings that fall outside the platform’s approved product offerings.

Prohibited and Restricted Items

StockX is a marketplace for safe, legal, and legitimate physical goods. Certain items cannot be offered through our platform. These include but are not limited to: illegal or regulated products, unsafe or recalled items, counterfeit items, stolen goods, weapons, drugs, drug paraphernalia, gambling items, and hazardous materials. We also prohibit live animals, human remains, unsanitary items, food products intended for consumption, and goods made from endangered species.

We do not allow items that promote hate, violence, graphic or sexual content, or false medical claims. Services, digital goods, account transfers, and other non-physical items are also not permitted. Some products may be restricted due to trade sanctions, export laws, or other government regulations.

How We Enforce These Guidelines

We use a mix of trained reviewers and automated tools to enforce our Community Guidelines, Terms, and other marketplace policies.

When we review a possible violation, we consider factors such as the seriousness of the issue, its impact, the user’s history of compliance and the visibility and marketplace impact of the activity. High visibility environments, such as Live streams, may be subject to enhanced moderation standards due to their broader impact. We may apply temporary safeguards to reduce immediate risk or take enforcement action if a violation is confirmed.

Enforcement actions may include removing or suppressing content, issuing warnings, limiting features, canceling orders, holding payouts, limiting account features, restricting access to Live or other elevated seller privileges, temporarily suspending accounts, or permanently banning users. Serious or illegal violations may result in immediate enforcement without prior warning and, when required, referral to law enforcement. Repeated violations or attempts to bypass these guidelines or its related policies may result in account-level enforcement.

If you believe we made a mistake, you may be able to submit an appeal. StockX reserves the right to take action as needed to protect the safety and integrity of the marketplace. For more information, please see our [Enforcement Policy].

Review & Updates

This policy will be reviewed on an annual basis, or sooner if warranted by changes in law, regulation, business practice, or risk exposure. All material updates will be communicated to affected parties prior to the effective date of changes.
