STOCKX
Violence & Dangerous Behavior Policy
Purpose
StockX supports the sale of legitimate products across categories such as streetwear, collectibles, and anime. Some items may reference conflict, action themes, or fictional violence. However, content that promotes real-world violence or dangerous behavior is not allowed on our platform. This policy outlines what type of content is not allowed.
Scope
This policy applies to:
This policy does not supersede applicable local, state, or federal laws or regulations. Where conflicts exist, legal requirements shall take precedence.
Policy
Violent Content
StockX does not allow content that promotes, glorifies, or encourages real-world violence, including but not limited to:
• Glorification of Real-World Violence: Merchandise or content that praises or celebrates mass casualty events, terrorist attacks, school shootings, or other acts of real-world violence, including praise of individuals who committed such acts.
• Threats or Advocacy of Violence: Threats of harm or menacing toward any individual or group, or language that expresses intent, desire, or encouragement to cause harm in a way that sounds real, even if intended as a joke or exaggeration.
• Violence Against Protected Groups: Content that promotes or endorses violence specifically targeting individuals based on protected characteristics as defined in the [Hate & Harassment Policy].
• Depictions of Real-World Violence: Real images, footage, or portrayals of fights, assaults, murder, or other violent acts presented to shock, exploit, or normalize harm.
• Destruction of Property: Content that promotes or shows unlawful vandalism, arson, looting, or other intentional damage to property.
• Violent Pranks: Staged or simulated violent acts presented as pranks, including fake assaults or armed threats, that may cause fear, panic, or risk of real-world harm.
Limited Exceptions for Violent Content: Items that show violence or contain violent language may be allowed when the content is clearly fictional, artistic, historical, educational, news-related, political, satirical, or similar expressive content and does not encourage, promote, or glorify real-world violence.
Dangerous Behavior
StockX does not allow content that promotes or encourages dangerous, reckless, or harmful activities that may result in serious injury or death. We may immediately remove content or terminate streams involving imminent danger, including but not limited to:
• Encouragement of Self-Harm or Suicide: Content that promotes or glorifies self-inflicted injury or suicide.
• Promotion of Risky Stunts: Content encouraging dangerous challenges, extreme stunts, or unsafe behavior without proper safeguards.
• Instructions for Harm: Guides or instructions for committing violent acts, building weapons or realistic replicas, or engaging in unlawful dangerous activity.
• Dangerous Conduct in Live Streams: Dangerous acts performed during Live streams, including reckless behavior that risks serious harm, streaming while driving, or demonstrating unsafe use of tools, vehicles, or hazardous products.
• Substance Use in Live Streams: Visible or identifiable use of alcohol, marijuana (including medical marijuana), or other non-medical controlled substances is not allowed on stream. Nicotine vape products are allowed if they are not used in a way that suggests impairment. Hosts must not appear intoxicated or under the influence while streaming.
• Handling Weapons in Live Streams: Holding or demonstrating any real weapon, or any replica, prop, toy, or imitation weapon that would likely be perceived by an average viewer as a real weapon, is prohibited. Approved StockX catalog items that are clearly non-realistic, stylized, fantasy, or toy weapons are exempt. Weapons and realistic replicas may appear incidentally in the background if not featured, promoted, or displayed in a threatening manner, though visible weapons may still trigger automated safety systems.
Organized Violence & Extremist Activity
StockX does not allow content that promotes or supports organized violence or armed extremist activity, including but not limited to:
• Terrorist Organizations: Promotion, support, or fundraising for terrorist or violent extremist groups.
• Militia or Paramilitary Recruitment: Content encouraging participation in armed groups engaged in unlawful violence.
• Violent Ideology Propaganda: Messaging that calls for armed conflict, civil war, or violent uprising.
How We Enforce This Policy
StockX uses behavioral signals and contextual analysis to assess whether content presents a credible risk of physical injury, public safety harm, or incitement to violence.
If you see something that may violate this policy, please report it using the tools available on the platform. If you believe another user’s behavior poses a real-world safety risk or makes you feel unsafe, please contact your local law enforcement or appropriate authorities. You should also report the issue to StockX so we can review and take action under our policies.
StockX reserves the sole right to determine whether any content violates this policy and may remove content at any time without prior notice. Violations of this policy may result in enforcement actions as described in our Enforcement Policy.
