The founders of Common Projects were inspired to start their own line when they couldn't find a high-quality but understated shoe. Common Projects' sneakers have a sleek look that can't be easily pinned to one era. They're available in high, mid, and low silhouettes. Originally, this brand didn't name or permanently label their shoes at all. Today, they've relented a little—item numbers are permanent, and the designs are each named. The Original Achilles is one of Common Projects' most popular shoes. It resembles a vintage tennis shoe. Other fan-favorite designs include the Tournament Suede High. Common Projects sneakers are all made in Italian shoe factories and use real leathers.
