Graphic & Sexual Content Policy
Purpose
StockX supports the sale of legitimate products in categories such as streetwear, collectibles, and anime. Some items in these and other categories may include graphic or sexual content that is sensitive or inappropriate for certain audiences. This policy outlines what type of content is not allowed on our platform.

Policy
Graphic Content
StockX does not allow content that shows or emphasizes serious injury, death, or other disturbing physical conditions in a graphic or realistic way. Content that is shocking, gory, or intended to disturb a general audience is not permitted. Including but not limited to:
• Graphic Human Injury or Death: Visible bloodshed, exposed organs, dismemberment, mutilation, or detailed depictions of severe physical harm.
• Real-World Crime or Tragedy Imagery: Photos or merchandise showing actual dead bodies, crime scenes, executions, terrorist acts, or victims of violence.
• Graphic Self-Harm: Depictions of suicide, cutting, overdose, or other self-inflicted injury shown in a detailed or realistic way.
• Graphic Animal Harm: Slaughter imagery, animal abuse, severed animal parts, or detailed depictions of animal injury.
• Medical or Surgical Gore: Close-up images of surgical procedures, open wounds, amputations, or exposed internal anatomy presented in a disturbing manner.
• Decomposition or Bodily Decay: Realistic depictions of decayed bodies, rotting flesh, or advanced decomposition.
• Excessive Bodily Fluids: Graphic display of blood, vomit, feces, or other bodily waste intended to shock or disgust.
Limited exceptions may apply to animated, illustrated, or clearly fictional depictions that do not show realistic gore or detailed injury; as well as academic or artistic content where graphic detail is limited and not presented to shock or exploit.
Explicit Sexual Content
StockX does not allow sexually explicit material or content intended for sexual arousal. We review content based on how it appears and how it is presented. Sexual intent may be determined by context, positioning, captions, marketing language, or overall presentation. Examples of content that violates this policy include but are not limited to:
• Pornographic Material: Adult films, magazines, images, or other media created primarily for sexual arousal.
• Graphic Sexual Acts or Simulations: Depictions or realistic simulations of sexual activity.
• Explicit Nudity: Close-up or focused display of genitalia during sexual activity.
• Sexualized Fetish Content: Content that presents or implies fetish themes in a sexualized or explicit way, including bodily fluids, domination themes, incest themes, or other explicit acts, even if explicit acts are not shown.
• Sex Toys & BDSM Products: Sex toys, adult novelty items, bondage or restraint devices, BDSM equipment, sex dolls, or similar products designed for sexual activity or arousal.
• Sexualized Violence: Content that eroticizes rape, assault, or physical harm.
• Sexual Solicitation: On-platform or links to off-platform offers of sexual content or services, escort services, or sexual acts in exchange for money, goods, or other benefits.
• Graphic or Sexual Displays in Live Content: Sexualized imagery, behavior, sounds, or audio presented during Live Shopping streams, including explicit language, sexual noises, or sexual content displayed through backgrounds, props, signs, or other on-screen visuals.
• Deceptive or Manipulated Sexual Content: AI-generated, altered, or manipulated sexual or nude imagery intended to mislead, including deepfake or synthetic sexual imagery of real individuals.
• Implied Sexual Content: Content where sexual intent is clear based on posing, framing, camera focus, gestures, or suggestive behavior, even if explicit nudity is not shown.
Limited Exception for Stylized or Non-Realistic Content: Certain stylized, artistic, fictional, or collectible content may depict mature themes or sexually suggestive elements. Such content may be allowed when it is clearly non-realistic and does not depict graphic sexual acts or explicit nudity. Additional exceptions may be granted for approved StockX catalog items, including collectible products featuring established artists, designers, brands, or artistic collaborations.
Sexual Exploitation
StockX does not allow content that involves the sexual abuse, coercion, or non-consensual sexualization of real or depicted people, particularly where power, age, or consent is a factor, including but not limited to:
• Sexual Content Involving Minors: Any depiction of minors, or subjects that appear to be minors, in sexual situations, sexualized poses, or suggestive contexts, whether real, animated, or AI-generated. Any content involving the sexual exploitation of minors will be reported to appropriate authorities.
• Sex Trafficking, Coercion, or Grooming: Content or conduct that promotes, facilitates, or supports prostitution, escort services, trafficking, grooming of individuals for sexual exploitation, or sexual services involving force, fraud, manipulation, or coercion.
• Non-Consensual Sexual Content: Depictions of sexual acts involving a person who has not or cannot meaningfully consent, including abuse and sexualization of individuals who are unconscious, intoxicated, restrained, or otherwise incapacitated.
• Voyeurism & Privacy Violations: Secret recordings, hidden cameras used for sexual purposes, or sharing intimate images without consent.
• Sexual Extortion or Blackmail: Threats to share intimate images in exchange for money, goods, or other demands.
• Bestiality: Sexual acts involving animals or content depicting sexual interaction between humans and animals.
Adult Nudity
StockX does not allow adult nudity presented in a sexual or explicit manner. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Exposed Intimate Body Parts: Visible genitalia or anus. Female-presenting nipples or areola are prohibited when sexualized or the focal point of the content. Female-presenting toplessness is not permitted in live content, regardless of context, intent, or level of sexualization.
• Revealing Attire: See-through or extremely tight clothing that reveals genitalia, anus, or sexualized exposure of female-presenting nipples or areola.
• Permitted Contextual Content: Non-sexual nudity may be allowed when presented in a clear artistic, historical, or educational context. This includes artistic female toplessness where it is not sexualized or intended to arouse. Stylized or fictional depictions may also be permitted if not sexualized. These exceptions do not apply to hosts, models, or other individuals appearing in listings or live streams, who must remain clothed and may not create the appearance of nudity.
How We Enforce This Policy
StockX considers context, presentation, realism, and intent when evaluating content for graphic and sexual content violations.
If you see something that may violate this policy, please report it using the tools available on the platform. If you believe another user’s behavior poses a real-world safety risk or makes you feel unsafe, please contact your local law enforcement or appropriate authorities. You should also report the issue to StockX so we can review and take action under our policies.
StockX reserves the sole right to determine whether any content violates this policy and may remove content at any time without prior notice. Violations of this policy may result in enforcement actions as described in our Enforcement Policy.
Review & Updates
This policy will be reviewed on an annual basis, or sooner if warranted by changes in law, regulation, business practice, or risk exposure. All material updates will be communicated to affected parties prior to the effective date of changes.
