StockX x Museum of Graffiti

The Art of Hip Hop

Live in Miami Starting December 5th

To celebrate 50 years of hip hop legacy, StockX and the Museum of Graffiti present The Art of Hip Hop exhibition and week-long celebration during Miami Art Basel.

Located in Wynwood, the Museum of Graffiti celebrates the stories and masterpieces of marginalized artists by creating public spaces to showcase their craft and works. Given this year’s 50th anniversary of Hip Hop, the Museum of Graffiti and StockX are honoring the graffiti medium and its contribution to the genre, as well as celebrating its impact among artists around the globe.

The Art of Hip Hop Exhibit

The Art of Hip Hop is an immersive exhibition, celebrating 50 years of the genre’s visual identity and the artists, photographers, and designers behind some of the most celebrated album covers. Guests will enjoy work from famed hip hop photographers Martha Cooper, Janette Beckman, Mike Miller, Henry Chalfant, Matt Doyle, Lisa Leone, Joe Conzo, Daniel Hastings, and Erin Patrice O’Brien alongside hip hop album covers designed by Cey Adams, Eric Haze, Slick, Kaws, and more. This exhibit will also shine a special light on Miami’s own Hip Hop history through the lens of local photographer Derick G.

A special curation of iconic sneakers throughout Hip Hop history curated by StockX will be on view throughout the month of December. Special outdoor activities will take place December 6th-8th.
