What happens if I don’t like what I pull?
No problem, you can instantly sell your item back for 80–90% of its list price in the form of StockX Credit. That credit can be used on any item across the StockX marketplace, not just Mystery Boxes. Sell Back transactions are final and cannot be reversed once confirmed.
How is the value floor determined?
Every box is priced and structured using real sales data from the StockX marketplace. The item you reveal will always be worth at least what you paid for the box (before processing fees).
Are the odds shown before I buy?
Yes, always. Every Mystery Box product page shows the full breakdown of price tiers and the probability of pulling each one before you complete checkout. StockX reserves the right to modify the contents, structure, probabilities, or pricing of any Mystery Box or to discontinue Mystery Boxes at any time. The probabilities and price tiers displayed at the time of your purchase will apply to that specific transaction.
How quickly will my item ship?
All Mystery Box items are pre-verified, meaning they’re ready to ship. Shipping fees only apply if you choose to keep the item.
What is StockX Credit and how does it work?
StockX Credit issued through Mystery Boxes can be used toward any purchase across the StockX marketplace. Credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, cannot be withdrawn, and may be subject to expiration.
What happens if I don’t make a decision after my reveal?
You have approximately five (5) minutes after your reveal to either complete checkout and receive the physical item or elect the Sell Back option. If you do not make a selection within that window, you will automatically be checked out and the physical item will be delivered to you.
What happens if my payment doesn’t go through?
If your payment method fails during the timer window, you will be issued StockX Credit equal to the purchase price of the Mystery Box. That credit can be applied to future purchases on the StockX marketplace.
Can I use bots or automated tools to purchase Mystery Boxes?
No. Use of bots, scripts, or any automated means to purchase Mystery Boxes or attempt to manipulate probabilities or system behavior is prohibited and may result in voided transactions, forfeiture of credits, or account suspension.
