Whether you're looking for the right accessory to match, or need a proper top, let StockX help you put together A Perfect Fit for the Air Jordan 12 Playoffs.

This article is part 15 of 42 in the series: A Perfect Fit

This year marks the third time Jordan Brand reintroduces the classic Jordan 12 Playoffs, with previous retros dating back to 2004 and 2012. If you’re in need of some assistance in finding just the right items to wear with this latest Jordan drop, StockX can help you put A Perfect Fit together.

The Air Jordan 12 debuted in 1996 and was crafted by legendary sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield. Featuring an asymmetrical tumbled and reptile-print leather upper, carbon fiber shank outsole, and Zoom Air tech (a first for any Jordan silhouette), the Jordan 12 dropped in four colorways during its first year, one of which is the black and white Playoffs. A large part of the success of the Jordan 12 was Michael Jordan’s famous Flu Game, where he wore the sneaker model while scoring 38 points in the 1997 NBA Finals with a 103-degree fever and flu-like symptoms. Despite being ill, Michael was able to bring his team to victory with a three-point shot in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, helping solidify their Game 5 win against the Utah Jazz and bring their chances to the NBA title that much closer. The lore of the Jordan 12 has helped develop an incredible amount of hype for the Jordan 12 Playoffs’ return this year.

Supreme Comme des Garçons SHIRT Split Box Logo Hooded Sweatshirt Black

This hoodie from Supreme and Comme des Garçons SHIRT shares a similar asymmetrical look to the Air Jordan 12 Playoffs. Released in 2018, Comme des Garçons SHIRT and Supreme worked together on their sixth installment of their ongoing collaboration, this time splitting the classic Box Logo into two and disorienting its design. The hoodie features the aforementioned displaced Box Logo on the center chest in black and white and flips its orientation, making it one unique iteration of the famous logo. Just like the Jordan 12s, the offset look of the Box Logo is eye-catching and stands out from other hoodies, both from Supreme and other brands.

Off-White x Jordan T-shirt White

If you’re looking to emulate one of the greatest of all time, then this tee might be the piece you need with the Jordan 12s. Last year, alongside his collaborative Air Jordan 4, the late Virgil Abloh worked with Jordan Brand to release a small collection of products in celebration of All-Star weekend, which included this white tee. The Off-White x Jordan T-shirt White displays a boy dreaming of Michael Jordan playing on the court, while the back is a graphic of that same boy mimicking Jordan’s characteristic moves. The design of the shirt encapsulates prime nostalgia, similar to these classic Jordan 12 retros, both of which highlight Michael Jordan proving that he is one of the greatest to do it. And the tee’s white and black look will easily match with your new J’s.

Off-White Virgil Square Frame Sunglasses Black/White/Grey

Accessories can bring a lot to a fit, and these shades from Off-White will do just that. The Off-White Virgil Square Frame Sunglasses feature a thick black square frame construction and Off-White branding etched into the top right corner of the black lenses. A white Arrows motif plaque is added to the temples of the glasses, further showing off the brand. The straightforward black and white colorway adds a cohesive look to the Air Jordan 12 Playoffs and also brings an additional hit of luxury to any look.

Eric Emanuel EE Boucle Short Black/Red

Basketball shorts are typically worn casually around the house, to run basic errands, or simply to play basketball, but Eric Emanuel has found a way to elevate the everyday short and make it a streetwear staple piece. These Eric Emanuel EE Bouclé Shorts are a prime example of that elevation. Think basketball style meets Chanel Bouclé Jacket, but in the best way possible. The shorts are made entirely from bouclé, giving them a multi-colored effect of black, grey, and white. Eric Emanuel’s EE logo is screen printed on the left leg, adding a vibrant pop of color. These shorts, similar to the essence of the Air Jordan 12, are fashion-focused and will stand out from your average basketball apparel.

SOULGOODS x BEDWIN Corduroy Jacket Black

Continuing with this black garment theme is this SOULGOODS jacket made in collaboration with the Japanese streetwear brand Bedwin & the Heartbreakers. This jacket has a rigid corduroy design that, when brushed, gives off a lighter shade of black. The front of the jacket has “Bedwin Et Les Soulgoods” embroidered on the back of the jacket, describing the partnership between the two brands in French.

Supreme Quilted Plaid Flannel Shirt Olive

For those looking to add some color to these monochromatic kicks, this flannel from Supreme might do the trick. The Supreme Quilted Plaid Flannel Shirt Olive is a great way to stay warm and stylish during the transition period between winter and spring, as it features an insulated quilted lining. An Olive, red, and black tartan design compliments the Jordan 12s’ similar makeup, while also bringing some additional color.
