Off-White and Nike are no strangers to working on the Air Force 1. The Nike Air Force 1 Low was the canvas for many of the late Virgil Abloh’s designs, with many of them coinciding with gallery openings at museums across the country, like Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art and New York’s Museum of Modern Art. The Nike Air Force 1 Mid gets the Off-White treatment for their latest collaboration. The release featured both a black and white pair, each designed with mesh uppers, rainbow-colored spiked outsoles, and ripstop nylon strap, bringing a new and distorted look to the classic Nike sneaker.

Louis Vuitton x NBA Basketball Short-Sleeved Shirt

Alongside Nike, Off-White has also collaborated with Louis Vuitton, continuing to blur the lines between luxury and streetwear. Rocking this Louis Vuitton x NBA Basketball Short-Sleeved Shirt is the perfect pairing with the Air Force 1 Mid, especially considering the sneaker was traditionally a basketball shoe. The shirt is reminiscent of warm-up suits worn by professional basketball players since the 70s. The top is constructed with knitted ribs as an ode to NBA basketball jerseys and features a boxy fit. It’s a great apparel piece that adds an additional layer of luxe to these Off-White sneakers.
