What is an affiliate program? How does it work?
The StockX affiliate program allows media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to receive commission from the traffic they drive to StockX that results in a completed transaction. So if your audience clicks a referral link from your site to StockX and makes a purchase, you get a percentage of the sale.
Do I qualify to be a StockX affiliate?
The short answer is you are. Virtually, anyone can be a StockX affiliate and all are welcome to apply. From large editorial sites to influential Instagram accounts, all are welcome. Applications that are submitted to the StockX affiliate program are reviewed by our team so we can make sure your account is compatible with our brand.
Does it cost anything to be a StockX partner?
No. You get paid!
How are sales tracked?
When your audience clicks an Impact referral link (what we use to track sales), we store their click ID. If that user places an order within 15 days and your referral link was the last one clicked, we send the order info to Impact and credit you the sale!
How and when will I get paid?
The Impact platform will pay you out on a monthly basis when commission balance is $50 USD or more. For more info, you can check out Impact’s Partner Help Center.
What is Impact? Why do I have to use them to work with StockX?
Impact is the industries leading affiliate tracking solution so we’ve partnered with them to make tracking referrals easier for you and for us! Impact provides reliable third-party tracking, real-time reporting, and distributes your payments.
How do I get started?
Simple as 1, 2, 3:
- Make sure you’re registered as an Impact publisher which you can do here. If you’re already an impact user, even better; just go here and toggle over to the “I am an Existing User” option at the top of the page to save some time.
- We manually review all applications within 48 business hours. Once your application has been approved, we will follow up with everything you need to get started.
- Start promoting & getting the bag (collect commissions)!
How to generate tracking links?
Impact allows you to easily generate product specific tracking links using their “Deep Linking” tool where you plug in the StockX URL into the tool and will give you a unique tracking link for that specific product.
- Login to your Impact instance.
- Click the link icon on the vertical menu on the left hand side of your screen
- Find the desired product that you’re looking to promote on the site and copy the URL EX: https://stockx.com/supreme-rigid-slim-jeans-indigo
- Paste the URL into the blank field and click “Generate”
- The unique tracking link should appear in the field titled “Use this link to promote StockX” and should look something like: stockx.sjv.io/3RgWB It will look like this but this link is not your personal link. It will be customized to your affiliate account.
For your convenience, Impact offers a deeplinking extension for Google Chrome making it easy for Radius Partners to create deeplinks on the fly for the brands and advertisers they work with. With the extension installed, you can:
- Generate paid links to a product page right from StockX.com
- Add custom reporting parameters to your links
- Easily post the link to Facebook, Twitter, or copy to your clipboard
Before the Impact deeplinking extension can work, you’ll need to enable API Access in your account if you haven’t already.
- On the left nav bar, select → API.
- Select Enable API Access Now
StockX has so many products! How do I know what to promote?
This depends largely on what is going to resonate with your audience and no one knows what they are going to engage with better than you. How do I make customized landing pages for StockX products I want to post?
To create customized landing pages, you can use our filtering features available on StockX. Here are a couple examples:
Click the Sneakers Tab > Click Browse All > Click Air Jordan > Select 1 > Click Below Retail
Supreme T-Shirts Filtered by Season
Click the Streetwear Tab > Click Browse All > Choose Supreme > Select T-Shirts > Scroll to the bottom and on the left hand side you will see the different seasons, select the desired season.
Does StockX have a product data feed?
StockX’s product feed is available in the Impact Platform. Every product on StockX and its accompanying Lowest Ask price is available via the feed. The StockX product feed currently supports the following currencies: USD, AUD, GBP, EURO, & CAD. Once accepted into the program you can apply for API access here.
