Created by legendary Nike designer, Tinker Hatfield, the sneaker was the fourth addition to the then four-year-old collection for the great Michael Jordan. While wearing the AJ4, Jordan averaged his highest stats all in one season; 32.5 point average, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. With the pairing of key Nike designs, aesthetically pleasing elements, Michael Jordan’s depth-defining acts on the court, the Air Jordan 4 continues to be a fan favorite sneaker for generations. In 2020, the Fire Red colorway makes its return in true original form.
The upper of the Jordan 4 Fire Red is composed of smooth white leather with black and red support wings. White mesh netted panels are prominent on the lateral side and the tongue. “Nike Air” branded heel tabs, a classic Jordan Flight tag on the tongue, and a red and grey sole with a visible Air unit sum up this Jumpman masterpiece.
