Recently, drew house dropped several new apparel pieces featuring what they call the āmascot logoā and their hoodie from the release is this weekās StockX Pick of the Week.
drew house opened their doors in late 2018 with the release of just one product, a pair of house slippers that sold out immediately. The slippers featured a small yellow smiley face logo that replaced the faceās mouth with the word, ādrewā. Not long after the release of those slippers, drew house began to release apparel and dubbed their smiley face, the āmascot logoā.Ā
In the three years since its conception, drew house has become a powerhouse. With massive support from Justin Bieber, who quietly co-owns the brand, drew houseās releases sell out in seconds. This particular hoodie was released in late September of this year as a part of the brandās first release of the fall season. The drop included just ten new products including hoodies, t-shirts, tote bags, and slippers. The cream colourway of this hoodie features the mascot logo front and centre on the chest with a small logo printed on the left arm.
Earlier this year, drew house was added to the StockX catalogue, and since then itās quickly become one of the biggest new brands on the marketplace. The mascot logo, unquestionably the brandās most popular graphic, is featured on the nine of the top ten drew house products available on StockX. All drew house mascot hoodies have been profitable on the resale market as well, averaging price premiums between 30% and 100%.Ā
Though drew house isnāt the only brand to attach themselves to the smiley face, they may be the brand with the most cultural cachet at this moment. Until recently, this was relatively debatable but between Justin Bieberās consistent repping of drew house and other competitors fading from the spotlight, it would seem that theyāve got the logo locked down.Ā
