Nike Air Max 1 Premium Wabi-Sabi (W)
Wabi-Sabi is a worldview, or rather a traditional aesthetic, associated with Japan. The beauty of wabi-sabi lies in the acceptance of the imperfection and impermanence of things. JJJound is a design studio founded in 2006 as a digital mood board. After several collaborations, most notably with New Balance, they collaborated with ASICS for the first time in 2022, creating two colorways of the GEL-Kayano 14.
The shoe, which is heavily inspired by the 2000s, has an interesting silver lining reminiscent of metal. In one version, the lighter one, this color blends with the white and details of the sneaker, while in the other, darker one, the silver contrasts with black and cream details that make it even more distinctive.
The shoe features the subtle JJJound logo that only connoisseurs will notice.
