Nike Kobe 6 Protro Grinch

After a year filled with Kobe 5 Protro releases, Nike is opening a new chapter and refreshing the Kobe 6 design with the Nike Kobe 6 Protro Grinch. The Kobe 6 Grinch originally debuted in 2011 when Kobe Bryant’s Los Angeles Lakers faced LeBron James’ Miami Heat in a legendary match up on Christmas Day. This is the first Kobe 6 to receive the Kobe Protro treatment, a design process that takes classic Kobe designs and updates them with modern tech for improved performance.

At a first glance, the Nike Kobe 6 Grinch looks identically like the OG pair from 2011: it features a Green Apple and Volt textured, snake-inspired upper as a tribute to Kobe’s Black Mamba moniker. A black Swoosh, red Kobe branding on the tongue, and green translucent outsole accentuate the shoe’s reptile theme. But, because this is a Protro, there are some differences. The updated Kobe 6 Grinch arrives with a more responsive Zoom Air cushioning system and scaled-down traction for an improved court feel. The silhouette shape is even altered to provide a lower, sleeker fit.

The Nike Kobe 6 Grinch will release this Thursday, December 24th for $180 on the SNKRS app and at select retailers.

Nike Vaporwaffle sacai Villain Red Neptune Green

Coming in hot off the release of the Nike sacai Vaporwaffle Tour Yellow, the Nike and sacai tandem is back again with a new colorway in the Nike Vaporwaffle sacai Villain Red Neptune Green. The Villain Red Neptune Green colorway originally debuted as part of sacai’s Fall 2020 Menswear runway show. Its design meshes features from the innovative Nike VaporFly with the classic Air Pegasus from 1983.

The upper of the Nike Vaporwaffle sacai Villain Red Neptune Green is constructed with mesh and leather, with burgundy and green suede overlays. Similar to previous models, the Vaporwaffle borrows from the Swoosh’s original Waffle sole and adds an avante-garde flair with a thicker, stacked midsole that peeks out from the heel. Just like past Nike collaborations, sacai doubles up on the sneaker’s Swoosh and tongue, continuing the layered motif.

If you missed out on copping a pair of the Nike Vaporwaffle sacai Villain Red Neptune Green for $170 on Monday, December 21st, you can purchase them here.

Yeezy is returning to the Earth-toned palette to deliver a new colorway with the Yeezy 700 V3 Clay Brown. The Clay Brown slightly resembles the Alvah with its primarily black look. But instead of a completely muted upper, it dons lighter earth tones, adding contrast throughout the silhouette.

The Yeezy 700 V3 Clay Brown features a black engineered mesh upper with light brown streaks running along the side encompassed by a signature translucent cage unit. A thick EVA foam midsole, reinforced toe cap, and 3M detailing on the forefoot complete this futuristic look.

If you caught an L attempting to grab the Yeezy 700 V3 Clay Brown for its retail of $200, don’t worry. You can place a bid or buy at the lowest asking price here.

Jordan 12 Reverse Flu Game

Jordan Brand returns to its Chicago roots and flips the iconic Flu Game colorway with the Jordan 12 Reverse Flu Game. Also known as the Jordan 12 Varsity Red, the Reverse Fly Game provides all of the vintage Chicago Bulls vibes just in time for the start of the NBA season.

The upper of the Jordan 12 Varsity Red is composed of red suede and a black faux lizard-print mudguard. A Jumpman logo and “TWO 3” embroidery is located on the tongue. A woven label heel tab, matte black chrome finish eyelets, and a black and red sole finalize this remix of a classic

Keep an eye out for the Jordan 12 Varsity Red to release this Friday, December 26th for $200 on the SNKRS app and at select retailers.

Nike SB Blazer Low Medicom

Nike SB and Medicom Toy are teaming up once again to release the Nike SB Blazer Low Medicom. The SB Blazer Low Medicom builds upon the hairy design characteristics used in this summer’s Nike SB Dunk Low Medicom but establishes its own identity by ditching the familiar all-black look for a lighter cream palette.

The Nike SB Blazer Low Medicom comes dressed in a Light Cream pony hair constructed upper with black pony hair paneling on the heel tabs. Medicom Toy’s signature BE@RBRICK logo is displayed on the lateral heel and tongue, similar to the branding on the Dunk Low. A white midsole and gum outsole complete this animated design.

The Nike SB Blazer Low Medicom is set to drop this Friday, December 26th for $80 on the SNKRS app and at select stockists.

Nike MMW Zoom 4 Grey

Givenchy creative director Matthew Williams is joining forces with Nike to modernize the early 2000s tech runner aesthetic with the Nike MMW Zoom 4 Grey. The innovative design originally debuted earlier this year alongside the Nike Dunk High AMBUSH at Nike’s 2020 Future Sports Forum. After months of built-up anticipation, the MMW Zoom 004 is finally here.

The Nike MMW Zoom 4 meshes transformative tech with street appeal. A lightweight, breathable stone polyester knit material comprises the upper while metallic detailing adds a range in texture to the outer lateral foot. Air Zoom pods beneath the forefoot and a metal cushion plate below the heel promotes forward motion and responsiveness upon striking the ground. A stacked midsole, Nike MMW branding on the toe box, and a sleek, wire-like lacing system finalize this technological marvel.

The Nike MMW Zoom 004 Stone released this Monday, December 21st for $450 on the SNKRS app. If you missed out, you can purchase the Nike MMW Zoom 04 Stone here.
