This week, Nike SB releases an ultra-exclusive colorway of the SB Dunk Low Grateful Dead, Yeezy continues to expand its 350 V2 line with the Yeezy 350 V2 Zyon, and Nike finally unveils the ISPA Road Warrior, one of its most unique creations to date. Every weekend has filled with heat, but for some reason, this weekend might break the thermometer. With more on the way, here is everything that is dropping in our latest edition of The Drop List.
Nike SB Dunk Low Grateful Dead Bears Orange
Nike Skateboarding is teaming up with legendary psychedelic rock band Grateful Dead and San Francisco-based skate shop FTC to release the special edition Nike SB Dunk Low Grateful Dead Bears Orange. As the first release of a series of three Grateful Dead colorways, this Nike SB Dunk Low pays homage to the Grateful Dead Bears, a series of stylized dancing bears illustrated by Bob Thomas on the back cover of the album History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice) in 1973.
Reminiscent of the Nike SB Dunk Low Baby Bear from 2006, the SB Dunk Low Grateful Dead Bears features a fuzzy orange faux-fur upper with suede overlays and a jagged Swoosh to represent the stylization of the bear’s chest fur. A hidden stash pocket sits inside the tongue that is perfect for extra storage. An orange midsole, bright green outsole, and signature Grateful Dead branding on the tongue complete this euphoric design.
As a tribute to Grateful Dead’s Bay Area origins, this orange SB Dunk will be released as an FTC exclusive. We expect production numbers of this Dunk to be extremely limited, since it will not release online or at any other skate shop. If you are lucky enough to live in the area and win the raffle, the SB Dunk Low Grateful Dead Orange will be available on July 18th at a retail price of $110 USD.
Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Zyon
Yeezy is back to bless the summer with yet another 350 V2 colorway. The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Zyon has had Yeezy fans waiting for a while, and now, it is finally within arms reach.
The Yeezy 350 V2 Zyon features a grey and earth tone Primeknit upper with brown hits and a black tonal side-stripe. Donning a white translucent Boost sole, tonal laces, and grey trim, this Yeezy is a necessity for any Yeezy fan who loves a clean 350 V2.
Keep an eye out for the Yeezy 350 V2 Zyon to release on the adidas website, Yeezy Supply, and other adidas stockists on July 18th at a retail of $220 USD.
Jordan 11 Retro Low IE Black Cement
Jordan Brand adds the Black Cement colorway to an original Jordan 11 silhouette with the Jordan 11 Retro Low IE Black Cement. The Jordan 11 Low IE made its debut in 1996 as an international exclusive shortly after the release of the Jordan 11 we all know and love.
The Jordan 11 Low IE Black Cement is composed of a black tumbled leather upper with grey Elephant Print overlays and red Jumpman detailing on the tongue, which pays tribute to the Air Jordan 3 Black Cement. A white midsole, translucent outsole, and mesh paneling on the heel blend the best of both worlds, creating a fresh, new take on a classic silhouette.
Look out for the Jordan 11 Retro Low IE Black Cement to hit SNKRS and other Jordan stockists on July 16th at a retail price of $170 USD.
Nike Air Force 1 Low Drew League
Nike Sportwear pays homage to one of the greatest Pro-Am summer basketball leagues in the world with the release of the Nike Air Force 1 Low Drew League. Located in Los Angeles, the Drew League is home to today’s legends and tomorrow’s rising talent. The league was established in 1973 by Alvin Wills while he was working at Charles R. Drew Middle School. He facilitated basketball games at the school’s gym in an effort to connect the community through the love of basketball.
Over the course of almost 50 years, the Drew League has grown from a humble six-team playing field to a 28-team invitation-only powerhouse that has featured NBA stars from Kevin Durant to LeBron James. Nike recognizes the Drew League as a landmark in the game of basketball and commemorates its history with basketball’s most beloved silhouette, the Air Force 1.
The Nike Air Force 1 Drew League arrives in the purest of forms. Its all-white look with Drew League branding on the heel and tongue give off an early-2000s feeling, similar to the Roc-A-Fella AF-1.
This Air Force 1 will hit SNKRS and select Nike Stockists July 17th at a retail price of $110.
Nike ISPA Road Warrior
The Nike ISPA Road Warrior may be the most unique design that Nike has ever released to the public. The silhouette is almost like a sneak peek inside of Nike’s innovation lab, referencing design elements that range from basketball, running, training, to outdoor apparel.
In what is a very concept-driven focus, the ISPA Road Warrior features a knit-patched upper with a rubber cage overlay donning buckles and straps across the forefoot. Double-stacked Air Zoom Pods in the forefoot reference the AlphaFly Next% running shoe while an open floating heel draws inspiration from early Nike Shox prototypes. For stability, Nike reimagined the classic Japanese tabi work boot and implemented a split-toe structure in the upper.
The ISPA Road Warrior releases globally on SNKRS July 17th at a whopping retail price of $500.
