Best Sneakers This Week

adidas Yeezy Slides Onyx and Bone

Following a restock earlier last week, the adidas Yeezy Slides Onyx and Bone are now the most traded products on StockX in the past week. Out of the top 5 most traded Yeezys in the past year, three of those are Yeezy Slides. Being that Slides are the most frequently re-issued model in the Yeezy line, a series of supply injections into the market has pushed the silhouette to the top, and we anticipate this to continue with Yeezy Day inbound.

Air Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott Reverse Mocha

Typically, the higher the fair market price of a sneaker, the lower the supply. But in the case of the Air Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott Reverse Mocha, an average price of $1,200 has not stopped it from becoming a top 10 most-traded sneaker on StockX in its second week on the market.

Most Expensive Sneaker of the Week

Nike Air Force 1 Low Off-White MoMA (With Socks)

It looks like the demand for Virgil Abloh Air Force 1s has expanded beyond the latest Louis Vuitton collaboration and is now impacting Abloh’s Off White AF1s. Last week, a pair of the Nike Air Force 1 Low Off-White MoMA (With Socks) closed at a sale price of just over $15,000, becoming the most expensive trade in the history of Nike and Off-White’s collaborative partnership.

Yeezy Day 2022

Yeezy is restocking some fan-favorite releases and unveiling several new colorways for the fourth annual Yeezy Day.

Too big for just one day, Yeezy Day 2022 will actually span over the course of two days, August 1st and 2nd. From the the much-anticipated return of the original adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Turtle Dove, to another reissue of the popular Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner, to the debut of new Foam RNR and Knit RNR colorways, there is something for everyone in this action-packed two day Yeezy frenzy.

You can participate in Yeezy Day 2022 on the adidas CONFIRMED app and the Yeezy Supply online store. No dumpster diving required for these releases.

Air Jordan 5 Dark Concord

Jordan Brand pays homage to one of the most iconic Jordan 11 colorways with the Air Jordan 5 Dark Concord.

Referencing the Jordan 11 Concord, the Air Jordan 5 Dark Concord features a smooth white leather upper with TPU netted underlays and reflective tongues. Hits of Concord on the embroidered Jumpman logos, midsole shark teeth, and sock liner bring a pop of color to the design’s neutral base. From there, a black midsole with a visible Air heel unit atop an icy semi-translucent outsole completes the design.

The Air Jordan 5 Dark Concord releases on Saturday, August 6th for $200 on the SNKRS app and in select Jordan retailers.

Stüssy x Nike Air Max 2013

Stüssy brings back the Nike Air Max 2013 in their latest collaboration with The Swoosh.

Arriving in Pink, Black, and Fossil colorways, the Nike Air Max 2013 Stüssy boasts a netted mesh upper with reinforced overlays, side Swooshes, and Stüssy branding at the forefoot. While the Pink and Black iterations sport a performance-focused look equipped with a visible full-length Air unit, the Fossil pair takes a vintage approach with aged-looking, clouded Air units, woven overlays, and frayed textile Swooshes – nodding to past Air Zoom Spiridon and Air Force 1 collaborations.

The Stüssy x Nike Air Max 2013 collection releases on Friday, August 5th for $210 exclusively on the Stüssy website. A broader release is to be announced.

JJJJound x Reebok NPC II

If you missed out on last week’s JJJJound exclusive release, you will have another opportunity to grab the JJJJound x Reebok NPC II later this week.

The Reebok NPC II JJJJound takes a similar approach as Virgil Abloh’s The 50, being that the design is offered in nine different variations at random, each very similar to one another. While each variation is constructed with a full-grain leather, terry cloth lining, and foam sole unit, the tonality of the white upper and mold of the sole vary. Minimalistic JJJJound branding on the lateral side adds the finishing touch.

The JJJJound x Reebok NPC II releases on Friday, August 5th for $150 on the Reebok website.

Air Jordan AJKO 1 Rush Orange

After a series of re-issues in 2021, the Air Jordan AJKO 1 is back in an all-new Rush Orange colorway.

Reminiscent of the classic Nike Dunk High Syracuse and its two-tone color blocking, the Air Jordan AJKO 1 Rush Orange features a canvas-constructed upper with a white base and Rush Orange overlays. At the collar, a special edition Jordan Wings logo with “AJKO” text tributes the origins of the design. From there, an off-white Air sole at the base adds comfort and support.

The Air Jordan AJKO 1 Rush Orange releases on Friday, August 5th for $150 on the sneakers app and in select shops.

Air Jordan 12 Low China

Jordan celebrates the 25th Anniversary of its presence in the Chinese basketball scene with the Air Jordan 12 Low China.

The Air Jordan 12 Low China offers a take on the original Air Jordan 12 Taxi with its tumbled white leather upper and black mudguard.  But instead of textual leather, this iteration opts for a smooth patent leather mudguard with holographic qualities. On the heel tabs, a “Next Stop Dongdan Streetball Tournament ” logo is prominently displayed, nodding to a yearly streetball tournament in Beijing that Jordan Brand sponsors. At the base, a Zoom Air cushioned sole provides responsiveness for daily wear.

The Air Jordan 12 Low China releases on Thursday, August 4th for $200 on the SNKRS app and in select retailers.
