In the last year alone, StockX’s Collectibles vertical has added numerous new categories to its catalog. Last year we added Pokémon Cards, a category that has quickly taken off, demanding attention at both a cultural and resale level. We also added LEGO earlier this year and our current offering now includes more than 1,000 sets. The Collectibles vertical continues to grow as we move into the summer of 2021 with the addition of Art Prints as a category on StockX.
The current Art Prints catalog on StockX is already nearly 400 pieces deep. So far, the most popular artist on StockX is Shepard Fairey whose pieces sold more than 70 times in the short period of time that they’ve been available. The catalog also includes prints from other prominent artists like KAWS, Hebru Brantley, Takashi Murakami, Yoshitomo Nara, and Matt Gondek.
Art prints sold through StockX are authenticated in a white-glove fashion, ensuring that maximum safety and care is taken in the handling of the prints. An art print sold through StockX must be in deadstock condition with no apparent quality defects. If an art print sold on StockX was originally purchased with a Certificate of Authenticity, that certificate must be included in order to pass StockX authentication. For more information on shipping, condition, and authenticity, refer to the StockX Art Print Q&A, which can be found here.
The addition of Art Prints to the StockX catalog is just one of many steps that StockX is taking to create the ultimate marketplace for authentic Collectibles. Art Prints can be bought and sold on StockX here.
