Air Jordan 1 High Yellow Toe
Although the Air Jordan 1 High Yellow Toe isn’t set to officially release until September, it is already making waves on StockX. This past week, the Yellow Toe was one of the top ten most traded sneakers on StockX, rivalring consistent top sellers like the Panda Dunks and Yeezy Slide Onyx.
Salomon XT-6 White Lunar Rock
Following a strong week in demand, the Salomon XT-6 White Lunar Rock became the third most-traded Salomon shoe in StockX history. Between the rise in popularity of their S/LAB line and cross-cultural collaborations with Palace, Dover Street Market, and Hidden NY, Salomon is a must-watch brand in the sneaker space.
Most Expensive Sneaker This Week
NikeCraft Mars Yard 2.0 Tom Sachs
Shortly after the latest restock of Tom Sach’s NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe, a pair of the NikeCraft Mars Yard 2.0 Tom Sachs sold for just over $8,000. With news that the GPS will continue to restock and release in more colorways, it’s evident how limited Sach’s past Nike collaborations were, which is contributing to their rise in value over time.
Best Sneakers Releasing This Week
Air Jordan 13 French Blue
Jordan Brand adds a new look to a renowned 1997 design with the Air Jordan 13 French Blue.
The Air Jordan 13 French Blue features a white perforated leather upper with French Blue Durabuck mudguards and a grey leather toe wrap. Nodding to Michael Jordan’s “Black Cat” nickname, a signature Jordan holographic emblem at the collar is reminiscent of panther eyes, while a sculptural sole takes the form of cat paws.
The Air Jordan 13 French Blue releases on Friday, August 19th for $200 on the SNKRS app and in select Jordan retailers.
Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog Cobbler
Salehe Bembury expands his Crocs Pollex Clogs collection with the peach-inspired Cobbler colorway.
The Crocs Pollex Clog Salehe Bembury Cobbler arrives in a similar fashion to prior releases, being that it has a monochromatic fingerprint-looking foam construction and adjustable velcro heel straps for secure fit. The main standout of the Cobbler is the bright orange color, which isn’t a new adventure for Bembury – his first New Balance 2002R featured a similar palette.
The Crocs Pollex Clog Salehe Bembury Cobbler releases on Thursday, August 18th for $85 on Salehe Bembury’s beaspunge.com.
adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Vanta
If you missed out on the Yeezy restocks as part of Yeezy Day 2022, you will have another chance to grab a Yeezy of years past with the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Vanta restock.
Although it debuted in June of 2019, the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Vanta is very much in line with the Yeezy aesthetic of today – a muted, all-black ensemble fit for a dystopian uniform. The 700 V2 Vanta could pair well with the Yeezy GAP Engineered by Balenciaga collection, or with many outfits for that matter. Its mesh, leather, and suede construction atop a Boost-cushioned sole makes the design versatile for any use.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Vanta releases on Friday, August 19th for $300 on the Yeezy Supply website.
AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force
Japanese fashion label AMBUSH teamed up with Nike once again to bring the 1996 Nike Air Adjust Force.
Arriving in both Black and White colorways, the Nike Air Adjust Force AMBUSH boasts a classic 1990s crosstrainer look with a Durabuck construction, mini-Swoosh toe emblems, and a dual-strap harness that secures both the forefoot and heel. From there, AMBUSH labeling on the heel strap and insole adds a custom feel.
The AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force collection releases on Friday, August 19th for $210 on the SNKRS app and in select Nike retailers.
Reebok Question Mid Blue Toe
Reebok celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Allen Iverson’s Question Mid by reissuing one of its original colorways in the Blue Toe for the first time since 2016.
The Reebok Question Mid Blue Toe features a white tumbled leather upper with a metallic blue leather toe wrap and an embroidered Reebok side logo. Reebok branding on the eyelets as part of the shoe’s ghillie lace system pays tribute to the original 1997 silhouette. At the base, a white midsole with signature Hexalite cushioning atop an icy blue semi-translucent outsole completes the design.
The Reebok Question Blue Toe releases on Thursday, August 18th for $160 on the Reebok website and in select shops.
thisisneverthat x New Balance 2002R and 1906R
Seoul-based contemporary design studio thisisneverthat joined forces with New Balance for new iterations of the 2002R and 1906R.
Being that thisisneverthat was instrumental in bringing back the 2002R silhouette in 2020, its fitting for the brand to offer another colorway in this latest collaboration. In this grey iteration, thisisneverthat explores the usage of cracked leather on the silhouette, embracing a vintage aesthetic. On the same note, the New Balance 1906R (a modified version of a 2010 running shoe) also takes inspiration from the aging process on sneakers, with discolorations throughout its mesh and leather build.
Both collaborative models release on Friday, August 19th for $150 on the New Balance site and in select stores.
