Now that you’ve sold your raw trading card on StockX, it’s time to pack it up and ship it off. This post will help ensure your package is successfully accepted at all StockX authentication centers.
You now have 2 business days to either drop off at the nearest UPS store location (which you can find right here) or schedule a UPS pickup at your home or office.
While shipping may seem simple, raw cards are extremely fragile so please be sure to follow these instructions to make sure everything goes smoothly. As a reminder, StockX is not responsible for items not packaged properly and any damage they may incur as a result of improper packaging.
Step 1: Place the card inside of a protective penny sleeve.
Since card condition is of utmost importance, we recommend sleeving your trading card. Any significant scratches to your card will void your sale. You can find penny sleeves at your local trading card hobby shop, or any retailer where trading card products are sold.
Step 2: Place the sleeved card inside of a toploader.
To protect the edges and corners of your card we recommend placing your card inside of a toploader so that the card stays in mint condition while in transit. You can find toploaders at your local trading card hobby shop, or any retailer where trading card products are sold.
Step 3: Place cardboard on the front and backside of the card, and place it inside of a team sleeve.
This will help ensure that your card will be packaged more tightly with less risk of damage in transit. You can find team sleeves at your local trading card hobby shop.
Step 4: Seal the team sleeve.
By sealing the team bag you will hold the cardboard in place to keep your card secure and prevent any bending or creasing.
Step 5: Place the sealed team bag inside of a bubble mailer.
The bubble mailer for shipping should be #0 which is approximately 7×10 inches. This size bubble mailer will safely hold your slab in a protective sleeve or a smaller size bubble mailer without making it too loose. Don’t forget to drop in your invoice and attach the shipping label that you were provided.
