At the time of its release, the New Balance 1500BBS (Black, Beige, Silver) was not very popular because of its use of silver foil instead of 3M reflective material and a steep shipping price from the New Balance online store. Since then, the Snea-Q x New Balance collab has become an iconic 1500 edition due to the limited number available, with only 150 in existence.
Along with the silver foil, the New Balance 1500BBS also included printed carbon effect leather, leather lining, and perforated suede toe box. Each pair came with a certificate of authenticity.
