The New Balance 1500BGT, known as the “Nazar Eye,” is an important shoe in the 1500s’ history. The New Balance x Solebox 1500BGT collab was one the first 1500s to exhibit the shoe’s new, bulky shape change. Each shoe was also packaged with an “Evil Eye” talisman for good luck. The new shape also precipitated some quality control issues and many of the pairs were not released or were released as B-Grades.
