It seems that Nike headed back out into the Galaxy with a retro of the Nike Zoom Rookie Galaxy (2019). The Rookie Galaxy zoom was originally released in 2012 amidst a craze of the galaxy/outer space themed shoes stemming from the Galaxy Foamposite.
The uppers feature a Galaxy Foamposite shell, sitting atop of a black underlay. The galaxy foam also has matching black pods at the mid panel and on the ankle. The smaller detail on the upper includes a special Nike Galaxy logo on the tongue tag similar to NASA patches. The back pull tabs on the heels have been replaced with a special tab that reads “pull before flight”. The outsole is finished off with a graphite plate laying under a translucent icy blue outsole.
The Nike Zoom Rookie Galaxy (2019) released on February 22nd, 2019 for a retail price originally of $220 USD. Want to buy or sell a pair? Hit the StockX Marketplace today.
