Your favorite streetwear brand just dropped your new favorite iPhone accessory. For the first time since FW18, Supreme dropped a branded iPhone case. The last time they dropped a phone case was in FW18 and it was actually a collaborative charging case with Mophie. FW20ās case may lack a charging capability but also requires a little bit less maintenance and wonāt bulk your phone up so much. The branded iPhone case is an easy sell for brands, and maybe thatās why Supreme makes so few phone cases, because itās too easy. Even with this release, theyāve stayed away from their traditional Supreme red colorway; the easiest win of all. Regardless, these cases will be trading in high volumes on the resell market, Supreme Red or not.
The new Supreme iPhone Cases dropped in green, blue, pink, and grey camo colorways identical to the colors of four Supreme Skate Decks that dropped in Week 1 of FW20. Somewhat behind, Supreme has released their new iPhone 11 cases nearly a month after the iPhone 12 was released. This means that if you planned on upgrading your iPhone right away, you wonāt be able to sport the Supreme case, so maybe you should slow your roll. For those who are willing to put their upgrade off for the sake of repping their favorite streetwear brand, the plastic cases with a silicone coating and microfiber lining will be released in sizes fitting every model of the iPhone 11. These Supreme iPhone Cases dropped on November 5th, 2020, at a retail price of $36 USD.
Supremeās delivery of an iPhone case in FW20 makes them somewhat late to the party on StockX as far as branded phone cases are concerned. Both Off-White and BAPE, two of streetwearās other hard-hitters have been delivering new branded phone cases for several seasons. Off-Whiteās Diag Logo is no stranger to the back of the iPhone and right now, 25 different iPhone 11 cases from the brand are available on StockX. There are 31 iPhone 11 caseās from BAPE on StockX. The BAPE x OVO case, which features both brandās popular logos, is one of the more popular ones released recently. While Supreme doesnāt drop phone cases often, itās possible that the scarcity of the brandās new iPhone case will drive more sales than the more Off-White and BAPE cases that are somewhat more available. Whether the cases blow the competition out of the water or not, itās exciting to see that fans of Supreme will now have the opportunity to put their favorite brand on the back the most utilized item in their lives.
