It’s often expected of Supreme that by the end of the season they’re just dumping their less popular product and sprinkling in some of their smaller collaborations and accessories. Last year’s most notable summer accessory was the Super Soaker 500, which sold below retail for several months after its release. Last summer’s Cressi Snorkel accessory followed the Super Soaker’s lead, selling for less than retail for nearly a whole year after its release. This summer’s Supreme Raffia Tote Bag is changing that narrative, and coming out strong for a summer accessory.
The Supreme Raffia Tote Bag is a solid size, delivering 24L of usable bag space. It’s also made out of woven raffia and 18 oz. cotton material, both of which are perfect for the summer. The bag would be incomplete without its massive Supreme logo that stretches all the way around it. The totes got off to a strong start on StockX, as all three colorways have already posted average price premiums of over 40%. One would expect the red colorway of the bag to have collected the highest premium but that has not been the case with the release of these totes. Both the black and pink colorways have posted price premiums of over 60% while the red colorway sits closer to a 40% price premium.
