It only took until the Supreme Spring/Summer 2020 week 3 for us to get the newest collaboration with The North Face in the new decade. The headliner from the collection is the new Supreme The North Face RTG Jacket + Vest, but the entire collection sold through quickly. That’s because the new RTG collection was made of a variety of products. Primarily apparel but we also received accessories like gloves and a balaclava, along with storage options. Most everything was available in four color options, made to match one another.
The new jacket and vest combination was made from a waterproof and fully seam-sealed GORE-TEX nylon. It was made in four colorways with the bright red colorway being featured here. Made of a combination of the red, black, grey with white accenting. It utilizes a full zipper closure paired up with a snap placket up to the fixed hood. Plenty of pocket options were added to the jacket. Zip alpine pockets were added to the lower front along with zipped chest pockets. More zips were used on the armpits and in the form of four inner pockets as well. Finishing it all off were velcro closures on the cuffs and elastic on the hem. And that was just for the jacket. On the vest uses the same GORE-TEX nylon with matching liner. Also utilizing zipped pockets all over including a hidden chest pocket. Also included was a hydration-compatible zip pocket with foam insert. Branding is added in a variety of spots including the hood, arms, and main vest paneling. We especially like the RTG logo on the shoulder and vest rear.
