The Tag Heuer Autavia CBE2110.BA0687 is the result of a customer vote on which vintage Heuer was most desired for a re-issue. The vintage Heuer with the most votes was the reference 2446 with mark 3 dial, and that what TAG Heuer has re-created faithfully in the newest Autavia. The dial and case may look old school, but inside is another story with the in-house automatic chronograph Caliber Heuer – 02, which is visible through the exhibition caseback. The Autavia CBE2110 wears reasonably well on the wrist at 42mm in diameter, with the real heft coming from the nearly 16mm case thickness. The beauty here lies in the dial, with its reverse panda color scheme, meaning white registers against a black dial with the Arabic numerals residing on the bezel itself. Pre-owned examples sell around $3,500.
