Anti Social Social Club Hoodie Mind Games

Anti Social Social Club Mind Games Hoodie

We would be remiss to not begin the list of best Anti Social Social Club hoodies with the piece that started it all, the Mind Games hoodie. If we may, let us take you back in time. The year is 2015 and streetwear culture is colliding with popular culture more and more every day. Kanye West has been seen wearing an Anti Social Social Club hoodie in public on multiple occasions and the brand is selling out collections left and right. At the time, anything Kanye West wore would not only immediately sell out but the brand selling the item would become the new “it brand” of the moment. Fast forward to now and this hoodie has made a name for itself as the starting piece for anyone looking to incorporate “sad” into their personal brand. Anti Social Social Club has re-released their classic logo hoodie with nearly every seasonal drop making it one of the more attainable logo pieces in the scarcity-centric world of streetwear. Anti Social Social Club Hoodie

ASSC x fragment design

Founded in 2015, the Anti Social Social Club was no stranger to the collaboration-heavy streetwear scene taking place around them. With collaborations like Supreme x TNF, BAPE x adidas, and Palace x Reebok going on, they didn’t exactly need to reinvent the wheel to find success. Once they had the Kanye cosign and began to pick up steam, collaboration became the game for ASSC, leading quickly to partnerships with brands like Dover Street Market, Undefeated, and Mastermind. In particular, Anti Social Social Club has collaborated frequently with brands of Japanese origin including Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design in 2019. Since releasing, all three colorways of the ASSC x fragment Hoodie have been in the top 5 best sellers for Anti Social Social Club hoodies on StockX. ASSC Kkoch Hoodie

Anti Social Social Club Kkoch Hoodie

Anti Social Social Club has changed quite a bit since finding immediate commercial success and experiencing massive growth in the last five years. In 2015, when ASSC was founded, the brand relied heavily on its Tumblr presence, a melodramatic moodboard that romanticized things like being sad and lonely. If sad boy and sad girl culture started to crawl on Tumblr, Anti Social Social Club was where it learned to walk. The brand’s apparel attracted attention everywhere it went, clearly conveying a rather particular message: do not ask me what my shirt means. It was mysterious and sensitive and validated the feelings of a lot of fans who’d found community and identity in the brand. Since then, Tumblr has all but died and the community is far less engaged without the platform. Hoodies like the one featured in the image above have given fans the opportunity to express themselves as an anomaly though; sensitive yet emotionally distant, vulnerable but unapproachable. Anti Social Social Club Hoodie Bat Emoji

ASSC Bat Emoji Hoodie

We weren’t kidding when we said there were multiple different flower designs, and the two on this list are just scratching the surface. If the Kkoch hoodie communicates something of a sensitivity, this Bat Emoji hoodie demonstrates an edginess instead. Sadness is still the theme, but instead of a sadness that births something beautiful, this hoodie demonstrates sadness that grows something darker. The Bat Emoji hoodie is what it would look like if we somehow got our hands on a Tim Burton x ASSC collaboration. Shop the Anti Social Social Club Bat Emoji Hoodie on StockX below!

ASSC The Grove

Get trippy with this Anti Social Social Club Hoodie featuring a tie dye ASSC logo on the back and the phrase “LAST TIME WAS THE LAST TIME” on the front. This hoodie is an excellent option for sad boys and girls of the fun and artsy variety. The tie dye logo printed on this black hoodie delivers the fun of a tie dye garment with the versatility of a black Anti Social Social Club hoodie. The ASSC Grove hoodie also released in a gold and pink colorway that does not feature any form of tie dye. Not as trippy… Shop both colorways of this Anti Social Social Club Hoodie below!

Anti Social Social Club Hoodie Bape

ASSC x BAPE Hoodie

Anti Social Social Club landed their first big fish collaboration with BAPE in 2017 and has since collaborated with the brand multiple times. The two came together most recently in early September of 2020, delivering three hoodies and nine t-shirts. The ABC Camo BAPE x Anti Social Social Club Hoodie in blue has been the best-selling item from the collaboration followed closely by the green colorway of the same hoodie. The hoodie is similar to past BAPE x ASSC hoodies, featuring Anti Social Social Club logo on the ABC hoodie, but with one additional design element, a Japanese ASSC logo over the English version. The September collaboration dropped on both brands’ web stores and in-store at multiple BAPE locations in Japan. All three colorways of 2020’s BAPE x Anti Social Social Club hoodies can be shopped below.
