Supreme’s been releasing collaborations with Nike since the early 2000’s but it took until 2020 for the two brands to deliver their relatively simple, instant-classic Air Force 1. Sure, the traditional white Air Force 1 is the OG, but Supreme’s tiny red Box Logo on the outer side of this sneaker is a minimal branding touch we really appreciate. Additionally, this collaboration comes with a pair of Supreme Red laces that take the white shoes to the next level if you’re looking to grab attention. Ultimately, the Supreme logo comes second to the classic nature of the white Air Force 1, a sneaker that thrives on its versatility and accessibility. Whether you plan to try and keep them clean or beat them to death, it’s not hard to get a fit off when your sneaker of choice is the white Air Force 1.
Jordan 1 Retro High Neutral Grey
These Jordan 1s may be titled “Neutral Grey” but they’re still white sneakers. A white Jordan 1 isn’t exactly easy to get your hands on, and this particular pair has some real history built up behind it. The OG Air Jordan 1 High in Neutral Grey was one of the original colorways of the Jordan 1 released in 1985. Until February of this year, this sneaker colorway had never been retroed before, meaning that unless you had one of the original pairs from 1985, you couldn’t get this shoe. The Nike Swoosh and collar underlays feature a Neutral Grey suede material and a straighter heel makes for a look separate from Jordan 1 High’s released over the last few years. If your idea of a fresh pair of white shoes is something classic and that gives off a vintage feel, these Jordans are for you.
Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Cream White
Despite the adidas Yeezy partnership starting in 2015, it took two full years before they dropped an all white shoe. But since its release, the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost V2 in Cream White has been a showstopper. Well worth the wait, this Yeezy has remained one of the most popular all-white shoes on StockX in the nearly four years since its release. The all-white Yeezy 350 Boost V2 features a cream white upper with a Core white midsole and a whited-out “SPLY-350” logo on its side. Yeezy and adidas’ white 350 Boost V2 was clearly a big hit because it received a restock just over a year after its original release. If Yeezys are your thing then your collection isn’t complete without an all-white pair of the partnership’s most popular silhouette.
Nike LD Waffle Sacai White Nylon
For those interested in a sneaker that’s unique and interesting, Nike and Sacai’s recent collaboration might have what you’re looking for. The partnership first went public in the Fall of 2018, when Sacai sent two collaborative Nike silhouettes down the runway during a Spring/Summer 2019 Ready-To-Wear show. The two sneakers originally shown were collaborative versions of the Nike Blazer High and LD Waffle. Of the two, the LD Waffle garnered most of the attention due to its innovative fusion of the Waffle Daybreak and the LDV models. This white version of the Nike x Sacai LD Waffle released in March 2020, nearly one year after the OG colorways, and features a white nylon upper with grey suede overlays and a doubled sole, tongue, and swoosh.
Nike Blazer High Sacai White Grey
The Blazer High is the second sneaker to release as a part of Sacai’s initial collaboration with Nike in 2020 and has received several highly praised colorways of its own. The white-grey colorway is certainly similar to that of the LD Waffle above but its shape and style couldn’t be more different. Still extremely versatile, Sacai’s take on the Blazer combines the sneaker with Nike’s Dunk, creating a bulkier and more reinforced shoe. This sneaker too can be paired with nearly any outfit option but its vibes are slightly more active and street-focused than the high-fashion LD Waffle.
adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR
The future is now, and the future of comfortable slip on shoes is the Yeezy Foam RNNR. This shoe is downright futuristic, from its aerodynamic tornado-like shape to its composition of harvested algae blended with adidas’ EVA foam. If you’ve been looking for a new pair of kicks to wear to the beach or by the pool, Kanye West and adidas have you covered. Like a pair of Crocs sent back to us in a time-machine, these white shoes were basically made for the summertime season of 2030. New Balance 550 Aimé Leon Dore
New Balance had a crazy year in 2020 led by highly popular partnerships with collaborators like JJJJound, Salehe Bembury, WTAPS, Kith, Todd Snyder, and many others. Perhaps their most important collaboration though, was with Aimé Leon Dore. The two brands connected twice in 2020, delivering both a New Balance 827 and the resurrection the retired 550. While the 827 was popular and certain colorways resell for a healthy premium, it was the Aimé Leon Dore New Balance 550 that set the sneaker world on fire. Between the New York brand’s beautiful lookbook styling and masterful colorway selection, the 550 became an instant hit, demanding price premiums of more than 300% in some colors. Since their release just a few months ago, New Balance has doubled down on the collaboration’s success, making Teddy Santis, Aimé Leon Dore’s founder, a part of their official team.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High Off-White White
This EU exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Off-White may not have officially released with “The Ten” but its resale premiums demand the respect of every other sneaker that did. For those who can afford it, this Off-White x Nike sneaker is a grail and is unquestionably one of the most expensive white shoes on StockX. Recent sales of the sneaker range between $3,000 and $4,000 USD, nearly twice their release week premium. While it may make sense to wait until Virgil Abloh and Nike release “The 20” to get in on the collaboration, it’s likely that this particular colorway and model will never see a release again.
adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 White
Times were different in 2013. Kanye West was breaking off his torrid relationship with Nike and adidas was just beginning to roll out a new sole technology called “Boost.” Two years later, West was straight up working with adidas, releasing his own sneakers built upon those Boost soles. Somewhere in there, Kanye West started wearing the Ultraboost, helping to propel the sole and sneaker forward in popular culture. In 2021, it’s difficult to make a case that the Ultra Boost isn’t a modern classic. The sneaker has certainly lost some of the luster that carried it to sold out releases during its infancy, but it remains a stylish and comfortable shoe.
