Best Sneakers This Week
Air Jordan 4 Red Thunder
For the second week in a row, the Air Jordan 4 Red Thunder has held the top spot as the most popular sneaker on StockX. While Jordan Brand’s recent drought of new releases has directed demand to the Red Thunder and some of last year’s top releases, we expect the Red Thunder to endure more competition with February and All-Star Weekend approaching, as we anticipate releases with enough firepower to climb the ranks.
Air Jordan 1 Patent Bred
Similar to the Red Thunder, the Air Jordan 1 Patent Bred is still one of the most traded sneakers on the market, despite releasing over a month ago. The Patent Bred’s timeless styling has helped it become a must-have item for those who want a pair of Bred 1s without creasing their wallet.
Most Expensive Sneaker This Week
Nike Mag Back to the Future (2016)
Another week, another record set. One week after the Nike SB Dunk Low Paris broke its own record for the most expensive sale in StockX history, the Nike Mag Back to the Future (2016) has now claimed that title. The latest iteration of the Nike Mag sold at a historical high of $65,000, proving that this design is more of a museum-worthy artifact than a wearable sneaker. You could wear them in a flex for the ages, but you would be devaluing your investment.

On the tongue, a decorative “1” illustration is stylized identically like Ball’s distinctive chest tattoo. At the base, a sculptural black sole with Nitro Foam technology is a perfect match for hoopers with explosive play styles.

Nike Air Max 97 Air Sprung Pack
Spring hasn’t sprung quite yet, but nevertheless, Nike reinstates its vibrant Air Sprung collection with the Nike Air Max 97 Air Sprung Pack.
Offered in both Grey and Sail colorways, the Nike Air Max 97 Air Sprung Pack commemorates the season of rebirth. The materials used in the design incorporate recycled fruit fibers, as well as other upcycled fabrics. Caterpillar and butterfly embroidery on the tongue and side Swoosh nods to the butterfly’s metamorphosis each spring. On the insoles, the collection’s signature mushroom illustration is prominently displayed.
