Pokémon has big plans for it's 25th Anniversary! So far the beloved brand has already included promotional Pokémon TCG booster packs in McDonald's Happy Meals, announced a virtual concert featuring Post Malone on Pokémon day, and launched yet another collaboration with General Mills cereal. The General Mills promotional booster packs can be found in Trix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and more! Each pack contains 3 total cards, and guarantees the Pikachu holofoil card in every pack marked with a special 25th Anniversary stamp. 14 cards make up the General Mills Pokémon card checklist - 6 holofoils and 8 standard cards that are reprints from the Pokémon Sword & Shield series thus far. Each order of this product comes with 40 sealed booster packs.

Pokémon will continue to announce more collaborations and special events throughout the course of 2021 to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. Of course, they will continue to regularly release Pokémon TCG sets as normal in 2021, including the highly anticipated Shining Fates set.
