Under Armour Sneakers

Under Armour sneakers’ collaboration with NBA player Stephen "Steph" Curry began with the first signature shoe released in 2015, the Curry 1. This shoe went on to become one of the most successful athlete collaborations of the year. Released in successive numeric editions, the Curry series of sneakers has gone on to become a major player in the athletic shoe universe, elevating Under Armour, known for its performance-enabled clothing, along the way.

By opting for Under Armour to produce his signature shoe, Steph Curry eliminated existing parameters of athlete-brand collaborations. Commonly regarded as the greatest shooter and one of the best NBA players of all time, Curry is thought to have revolutionized basketball with his three-point shooting. A multi-time NBA champion and MVP, Curry’s success in basketball is due in no small part to the efficacy of his signature Under Armour sneakers. The Under Armour Curry Flow 8 NM White Black features a rubberless construction with strong cushioning for those fast reacting moments on the court.

Collectors will love the meaning imbued in Under Armour sneakers, as many of Curry’s most iconic moments have transpired in his signature shoes. Curry’s first wear of the original Curry 4 took place during the 2017 Finals, wherein he won his second championship ring and MVP title. Accordingly, Under Armour’s footwear technology, featuring cross-centric traction and a foot cushioning feel necessitated a limited re-release of Curry 4, enabling fans and collectors to get in on the championship action.
