John Elliott

Started in 2012, John Elliott, the brand, was founded by John Elliott and his high school friend and business partner, Aaron Lavee. A California native hailing from San Francisco, John combined personal inspiration with the rise of skate culture’s influence in fashion to start his brand. The John Elliot brand started with basic essentials, creating functional yet modern clothing using high-quality fabrics.

The John Elliott brand is mainly known for its high-end staples with minimal to no branding. Their collections revolve around basic, essential denim cut and sew pieces, like this John Elliott The Daze Jeans Seno. John Elliott focuses on providing a functional wardrobe—t-shirts, trousers, jackets, caps, and shoes—and strongly emphasizes providing the best quality fabrics and tailored fits. Each garment is designed with exceptional attention to detail, featuring either paneled fabrics, loose stitches, asymmetrical necklines, or more, elevating everyday pieces into statement pieces, like the John Elliott Reconstructed Vintage Hoodie Washed Black. The brand crafts all its clothes in Los Angeles, using materials sourced from around the globe. The goal is to produce the highest quality garments using materials designed to withstand the test of time.

Since joining the fashion industry, John Elliott’s approach to style has evolved, but pretty much stayed the same. Collection after collection, the brand focuses on basic, essential pieces, which has proved to be a winning formula. Notable collaborations include the John Elliott x Nike collaboration on the Air Force 1 and LeBron Icon.
