Apple’s smallest desktop features 4K video resolution at 60 Hz, unified 8GB 2666MHz DDR4 RAM, and 256 GB of standard storage space. The Apple Mac Mini has tweaks to its processor and a new Intel-based chip.

The Mac Mini's dimensions are 1.4 inches in height, 7.7 inches in width, 7.7 inches in depth, and 1.2 kg in weight. Plastic and steel components are the main casing materials for the Mini. For connections and expansions, you have two Thunderbolt ports. The ports transfer data at 40 GB/s. Two USB-A ports are also available for transferring data at 5 Gb/s. The Apple Mac Mini runs on Apple's Mac OS. The first-generation Mini has 256 GB of storage space, while the Intel-powered Mini has a 512 GB SSD. Both drives are configurable to 1 TB. An Apple M1 chip used in the Air 13 Macbook is built into an eight-core CPU and runs point on this desktop along with an eight-core GPU. Apple also introduced a dual-display mini, and the Thunderbolt port supports the multi-display, which delivers 6K viewing at 60 Hz. The other option is HDMI, which supports 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Built-in speakers complete the viewing and listening experience.

Accessibility features available on the Apple Mac Mini include increased contrast, text-to-speech, voice-over, closed captions, and reduced motion. Built-in apps on the Mini are Siri, Safari, Photo Booth, the App Store, and Stocks. The Mac mini is available in different configurations based on the processor from i3 to i7 Intel chipsets.
