Nike Daybreak Sneakers

The Nike Daybreak was first released in 1979 and gained attention after the American runner Joan Benoit Samuelson wore a customized pair. Over the last 40-plus years, the shoe has transitioned from being exclusively a high-performance running shoe to a fashionable lifestyle shoe suitable for everyday wear with a vintage aesthetic.

Built first and foremost for performance, the Nike Daybreak shoes features thick EVA cushioning in the midsole, a waffle outsole for traction, and a cup insole, which provides maximum comfort. The upper is constructed of nylon and suede for breathability and durability in any conditions. A variety of different colorways are available today, such as the bold Nike Daybreak Limelight Orange Jade and the more traditional colorway of Teal Tint Midnight Navy, allowing you to choose something that will express your style and go with any outfit.

The Nike Daybreak shoe is also unique in that it was the first piece of Nike footwear to be designed with a straight last, giving it a more stylish and streamlined look. The collection also includes collaborations with other designers. For example, to celebrate the Nike line’s 40th anniversary in the year 2019, Nike collaborated with Jun Takahashi of the brand Undercover to create the futuristic Nike Daybreak Undercover in Blue Jay.

These shoes can be paired with any other Nike apparel for a stylish and functional look. Check out the Nike Daybreak collection and then look for other Nike apparel, such as sweatshirts, t-shirts, or sweatpants to go with it.
