Iconic Marvel Comics superhero The Incredible Hulk, alongside his alter ego Dr. Bruce Banner, began as a comic book series in May 1962. Cancelled after six issues, Hulk next appeared in Tales to Astonish. In 1968, Tales to Astonish became The Incredible Hulk, which ran until 1999. The 2000s brought the further evolution of Hulk comic books with The Incredible Hercules, The Incredible Hulks, and the Indestructible Hulk. Created by Stan Lee and illustrated by a varying team of artists, the many iterations of Hulk have enthralled readers for over fifty years.
