For the Nike Kyrie 7 line, NBA star Kyrie Irving and Nike engineers collaborated to render the shoe even more lightweight and to even further optimise the traction based on Kyrie's own moves on the court.

On The Kyrie 7, the upper’s base is lightweight textile and mesh covers the shoe from the lateral heel, across the lateral side and toe box, to the medial vamp. Different materials construct the heel, including canvas and TPU, where you can find different coded messages and treats from Kyrie on the different colourways. The TPU fingers that stretch across the forefoot lock down the foot for support and stability. Most of the colourways pop with different hues and designs, such as the Nike Kyrie 7 models Visions, Creator, and Weatherman Alternate. The Phylon midsole houses a large Air Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot that's curved to bend in multiple directions as it provides both cushioning and speedy energy return. The 360° traction pattern has been computer generated based on Kyrie's own moves on the court so that the grip delivers with every cut and surge. The grooved rubber even curls onto the midsole to provide traction for pushing off your edges. And these high-octane soles are no less colourful than the uppers. The Nike Kyrie 7 1 World 1 People Yellow sports no less than seven different colours on the sole unit.
