The adidas Iniki Runner is also known as the I-5923. The adidas Iniki Runner looks a lot like many of adidas' classic shoes from the 1970s and early 1980s. With the recognizable three stripe branding and suede uppers, this shoe looks like an authentic classic at first glance. What sets this shoe apart from Sambas and Gazelles is its Boost sole. After a close look, it's apparent that the sole is made of softer, thicker, more comfortable material. Up-to-date foam technology and chunkier, on-trend construction combine to make the Iniki much more cushioned than actual throwback shoes. After their initial release, Iniki sneakers were re-named the I-5923. The I-5923 in Chalk Pearl/Core Black/Utility Green has a minimalist feel in modern, neutral tones. The I-5923 in Core Black/Footwear White/Gum 3 has a more traditional look.
