Kanye West released his 7 track album on June 1, 2018, the project has features from Ty Dolla Sign, Kid Cudi, and Nicki Minaj. The album was one of two projects Kanye dropped in 2018, the other project being Kids See Ghosts, a collaboration project between Kanye and Kid Cudi that was considered one of the best albums of the year.

Ye’s cover art features a picture of the Grand Teton Mountain Range from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, that was photographed by Kanye himself on the way to the album's listening party. The words "I hate being Bi-Polar it’s awesome" is written by Kanye across the cover. Kanye was diagnosed with Bi-Polar disease in 2016 and raps about it on the track "I Thought About Killing You'' on the Ye Vinyl.

The Kanye West Ye Vinyl was released July 27, 2018.
