When it launched in 1984, the New Balance 1300 was designed with comfort and support as two primary goals for this shoe. Designed for both serious running and for everyday wear, the New Balance 1300 offers high performance and dependability.

With the New Balance 1300, you can find classic running shoes made from premium materials and New Balance Running shoe technology. The upper is primarily suede on suede, usually with holes in the toe box. The shoe features ENCAP technology, which is a combination of a polyurethane sole and an EVA foam core. The New Balance 1300 also features a plastic heel stabilizer and a Vibram soul.

On the New Balance 1300, you can find a number of different colors. Some feature an upper of all one color, including the overlays, whereas others feature uppers where the base color and the overlays are contrasting. Some colors are classic for the signature 1300, such as gray-teal, blue, green-gray, and Mallard blue.

On the New Balance 1300, you'll find some colors placed in collaboration with other iconic streetwear fashion companies. Some examples of these colors include Aime Leon Dore Pink, Ronnie Fieg Salmon Sole, Kith 10th Anniversary Antler, and Comme des Garcons Black. Other colorways are inspired by the interactive relationship between New Balance and Japan. Some of these colors include JPJ Made in Japan, Harajuku, and Japan Veg Tan Leather.

The New Balance 1300 running shoes have both the style and comfort to pair with activewear. The New Balance 1300 sneakers complement New Balance apparel such as the New Balance Made in USA Core Hoodie in Athletic Grey or the New Balance Core Crewneck Sweatshirt in Natural Indigo.
