The Cultivated Wrist

In this edition of The Cultivated Wrist, we’re going for round 2 of chronographs. See our first selection of chronos right here. There are too many great chronographs out there to be contained in a single list, so we’ve found a new batch of timers to that have quality Asks and we think they deserve a closer look. As usual, we’ve got something for everyone, at damn near every price point.

G-Shock Limited Edition DW5600PGB-1

We told you there’d be something for everyone. This G-Shock may not house a well-finished mechanical movement, but it is a chronograph (among other things), and it’s under $200. We’d shy away from wearing this in formal situations, but it’s fair game everywhere else, and downright perfect for weekend yard work, walks on the beach, and coffee shop visits. Unlike some Gs, this one is actually quite wearable. Bid or buy now right here.

Autodromo Monoposto

Independent, New York based brand, Autodromo specializes in automotive inspired wrist wear, and the Monoposto makes no secret of that fact. Resembling the RPM gauge you’d find on a dashboard, complete with a redline indicator between 10 and 11 o’clock, this is a watch for the crossover enthusiast crowd. What’s better, this automatic chronograph comes in well under $2,000. Get your Bid in right here.

Tudor Heritage Chronograph

This Heritage Chronograph is a near perfect recreation of an Oysterdate model from 1970. It’s pure vintage style in a thoroughly modern construction. The grey dial and black registers are accented by small pops of orange. This one happens to look great on either the bracelet or NATO strap that comes in the box. There’s a $3,400 Ask on this example, get your Bid in here.

IWC Ingenieur Racer

If you need a watch with a little more substance, look no further than this IWC Ingenieur in Racing trim. The squared case is the last of its generation, and the silver dial with blue accents must be seen to be fully appreciated. At 45mm, this watch is not for the faint of heart. There’s a low Ask of $6,200 on this example, snatch it up right here.
