The Air Jordan 13 “Flint” makes its return for the third time this Saturday. This coveted model released in 1997 as Michael Jordan closed out his final run with the Chicago Bulls. Despite never wearing the Flint colorway of the AJ13 on the court, this model assisted Jordan in closing out his Bulls career at 72-10 and giving him his sixth NBA Finals title.
The Air Jordan 13 was drawn out by Tinker Hatfield, designer of Jordan models 3 through 15. Inspiration for the 13th silhouette came from a black panther, highlighting Jordan’s animalistic instincts on the court. This year’s retro of the Air Jordan 13 “Flint” maintains all of its key elements since originally debuting in 1998. From its reflective 3M upper to its branded hologram on the side ankle, the Air Jordan 13 Flint stays true to the OG as much as possible.
The Air Jordan 13 “Flint” releases in a full family run this Saturday May 30th for $190.
