We're getting ready for a seance...

Seances have a history that dates all the way back to the 1700s. They gained popularity during the rise of spiritualism and became so popular that even Abraham Lincoln’s wife did one to communicate with her deceased son. Seances are a special occasion, so it’s only appropriate to come fitted up the right way. Not only are we calling the dead but we’re revitalizing our ‘fits for the occasion because you can’t just wear anything when awakening your sixth sense. Either together or separately, you can find some essential pieces on StockX for your next seance. So find your nearest woodland space, light a circle of candles, and bring your best looks to the ceremony as we ring in the new season of summoning.

*As if this actually needed to be said, we, by no means, are actually encouraging people to perform a seance, we don’t even know how to do that.

Fear of God Essentials Sweatpant Black

It gets pretty chilly during seance season, so warmth is an essential look for your wardrobe, while still remaining, for lack of a better term, spooky. This calls for black sweatpants by the appropriately named Fear of God. Their signature black Fear of God Essentials Sweatpants are not only a closet staple for seance fits, but are also thermal and soft to the touch.

Fear of God Essentials Hoodie Off Black

And it goes without saying that you absolutely need the hoodie to match the sweats. You can’t have the legs warm and not the rest of your body. This Fear of God Essentials Hoodie is just as comfy as the pants and just as ready for calling upon the spirits of spooky season. Women’s Dr. Martens Audrick Leather Platform Boot Black Nappa Lux

Many would consider a seance to be at best unorthodox and at worst, straight up evil. Dr. Martens is the epitome of a brand that goes against the grain, as they’ve literally been most commonly associated with British punk culture. We’re not saying that punks and gravecallers are the same, but they both know something about being independent thinkers. The Dr. Martens Audrick Leather Platform Boot is as different as it comes. These platform boots have a stacked Bouncy sole to bring a plush step for every “seance-r” this season.

Converse DRKSTAR Hi Rick Owens

Rick Owens is known as The Lord of Darkness, so any of his pieces for a seance are definitely warranted. Rick Owens anything tends to be very pricey though, but for all of us “seance-ing” on a budget, Converse has the perfect solution. The Converse DRKSTAR Hi Rick Owens DRKSHDW Black Egret has all the makings of your favorite black Converse 70s Hi with a subtle twist of Rick.

Supreme Skeleton Tee

This Supreme tee is more fun than spooky, but it does feature everyone’s favorite skeleton, Jack Skellington from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” This one is just for those looking for something to get them in the mood.
