Chicago-based boutique Notre teamed up with Nike to present a set of Nike Dunk Highs that pay homage to Midwestern grit. This pack of Dunks gives an industrial feel to a silhouette that has been detailed with traditional, straightforward leather color-blocking.
The Nike Dunk High Notre pack features a mixture of leather and shaggy suede uppers. Notre takes a design cue from their previous Vans collaborations with their “Handshake” motif, which is added to the medial side of both pairs. The tongues hold a detachable “Notre” name-tag patch, resembling a common design on a mechanic’s coveralls. Faded canvas heel tabs and yellowed midsoles add to Notre’s theme of wear and tear from hard work.
