The following interview has been lightly edited.

What does Black History Month mean to you?

Black History Month is a time for other cultures and those within the culture to get a look and/or remember the accomplishments of black people and show what we celebrate within our community daily.

Why is Black History Month so important?

It’s important because we are often uncredited and not acknowledged for our contributions to the world and the societies we live in.

Why is it important for StockX to honor Black History Month?

Black culture, sports, and fashion all intertwine. No culture vultures!

What do you think Black History Month’s legacy is and will be?

The legacy is always to show black excellence in all forms. The legacy will always be what we in the culture decide and push for. It changes with time and generations.

How do you hope to inspire future generations?

No need to hope over here [smiles]. Look into Leaders Amongst Leaders.
