Halloween is one of the greatest holidays of the year. Everyone dresses up in their ghoulish best to celebrate the dead in style. As you gear up to celebrate a socially distanced Halloween this year, you need to bring your sneaker A-game because everyone will be looking at you from at least six feet away. But don’t worry, no matter your plans, we’ve got the right blend of trick and treat for your feet.

Check out all our Halloween shoe recommendations below.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Skeletons

Each year since 2018, Nike has released spooky Air Force 1s featuring a skeletal foot rendering on the uppers’ lateral and medial sides. The first pair, the AF1 Skeleton Halloween, is a white-on-white AF1 with grey accents on the bones and a glow-in-the-dark translucent outsole. Nike continued its x-ray theme in 2019 with the AF1 Black Skeleton, sporting an all-black upper and midsole, with a white skeleton foot rendering, and glow-in-the-dark outsole. Fully leaning into the Halloween shoe theme, the 2020 AF1 Orange Skeletons feature a pumpkin orange upper with a black skeleton foot. The midsole and outsole are now one glow-in-the-dark translucent unit. Strap these on, and you’ll be a walking jack-o’-lantern.

Nike Blazer Mid Off-White Spooky Pack: Grim Reaper & All Hallow’s Eve

Virgil Abloh released the Nike Blazer Mid Off-White “Spooky Pack” in September 2018. Both Blazers were a holiday update of Abloh’s popular reworking of the Blazer silhouette from the initial “The Ten” redesigns. The appropriately named Grim Reaper presented the Off-White Blazer with an all-black upper, midsole, and outsole, an oversized white Swoosh, and Off-White staples like printed text and off-center tags and labels. All Hallow’s Eve goes full Halloween with a pumpkin-inspired look. This Blazer comes with a pale vanilla upper, tonal orange Swoosh, and pale vanilla sole. Abloh’s Halloween shoes are the equivalent of the difference between 1970s’ slasher flicks and Ari Aster’s Midsommar: still blood-soaked, but with pretensions to art.

Nike Air Trainer 3 Dracula Halloween (2020)

Inspired by the king of the vampires, this Nike Halloween release lets you walk in Dracula’s shoes without having to die first. The upper is dressed in a formal tuxedo-like mix of black and white with blood red and royal purple accents heightening the vampiric vibe. Furthering the Transylvania tie-in, the Swoosh features a blood-spatter look, and the midsole includes red flecks to spine-chilling effect. Perhaps the best Halloween detail can be found on the top of the tongue, where a set of fangs rest atop the Nike logo. And for the chef’s kiss, the insole includes a rendering of Dracula’s pale visage, with red eyes and blood-red fangs.

Nike Air Max 95 Freddy Krueger

With a truly terrifying nod to the C&D’d 2007 Nike Dunk SB Low Freddy Krueger, the Nike Air Max 95 brings the famed slasher back to life. Featuring an olive and burgundy striped upper resembling Freddy’s famous two-toned sweater, the famous runner silhouette showcases blood-dripping effects on both the tongue and heel tab. And if that isn’t sanguinary enough for you, the design is accentuated with bleeding swooshes on the insoles. These AM95s are a demonic delight for fans of A Nightmare on Elm Street films, gore, and Halloween everywhere.

Whatever you do, don’t sleep on these Halloween shoes, or you might have some bad dreams about it.

Nike Air Max 97 Slime Halloween (2020)

Going the extra monstrous mile, the Nike Air Max 97 Slime Halloween makes a dementedly delightful addition to your Halloween sneaker rotation. Everything about this shoe screams trick or treat—the colors on the upper combine purple suede, black mesh, and a glow green overlay. The side paneling incorporates a slick slime motif oozing onto the red swoosh. The shoe sits on a glow-in-the-dark outsole, complete with 3M reflective detailing so any monster, living or dead, can be scared off by your eldritch luminosity.

Nike SB Dunk Low Night of Mischief Halloween

One of the best things about Halloween is that you’re expected to get into some mischief—think civil infractions, not misdemeanors or felonies. The Nike SB Dunk Low Night of Mischief Halloween is the perfect sneaker for that balance between saint and sinner. Covered in Halloween motifs, the sneaker includes jack-o’-lantern perforations on the vamp, an embroidered spider web upper, pumpkin guts insoles, and embroidered “Trick” and “Treat” on each heel tab. A padded tongue, green and orange accents, and a glow-in-the-dark outsole complete the design. This is the sneaker that lets you keep your current cool while you reminisce about Halloweens past.

Nike SB Dunk Low SB Grateful Dead Bears

Whether you’re dressing up as a dancing skeleton, Casey Jones, a psychedelic bear, or Jerry Garcia, you’re going to need some dope kicks. Although not technically a Halloween-themed release, the Nike SB Dunk Low Grateful Dead Bears are a solid fright night flex. Released in three different colorways, Opti Yellow, Green, and Orange, they all feature a fuzzy faux-fur upper with suede overlays and a jagged Swoosh to represent the stylization of the bear’s chest fur. A stash pocket is inside the tongue is perfect for extra storage of whatever type of candy that tickles your sweet tooth. The Grateful Dead Dunks might not be entirely Halloween appropriate, but pair these with whatever costume you’re wearing, and you’ll be murdering the game all night.
