Nike SB Dunk LowFreddy Krueger

Product Description

The Nike SB Dunk Low Freddy Krueger translates the Nightmare on Elm Street villain’s recognizable appearance into one of Nike SB’s most discussed canceled designs. Red-and-green stripes reference Freddy’s sweater, while blood-like splatters cover the distressed overlays. A metallic Swoosh recalls the blades attached to his glove, giving the shoe several direct connections to the character across its familiar low-top construction.

Developed for a planned 2007 horror-themed collection, the design was intended to appear alongside footwear inspired by Jason Voorhees and Dawn of the Dead. The Freddy Krueger Dunk never reached an official public release. Surviving examples entered private collections, and the abandoned project became a notable chapter in Nike SB history. Its combination of costume references and graphic detailing makes the concept recognizable even without the character’s name printed prominently across it.

For collectors, the appeal combines an unusually detailed horror reference with the history of a project withdrawn before launch. The striped base, splattered overlays, and blade-inspired branding give each part of the upper a role in the theme. The Nike SB Dunk Low Freddy Krueger was created in 2007 but never officially released at retail. Us 9
