Nike Air Force 1 LX Tear Away White (W)

Nike made sneaker customization simple yet again with the Nike Air Force 1 LX Tear Away White (W). Just like previous collaborations with Travis Scott, CLOT, G-Dragon, and Stranger Things, the Air Force 1 Tear Away lets you decide how you want your shoes to look.ย

From afar, this Air Force 1 is reminiscent of a traditional triple white colorway. But, with further examination, โ€œTear Hereโ€ and โ€œCut Hereโ€ directions are visible on a thin, white textile upper that can be removed to expose a colorful array of premium leather panels. The underlying upper consists of red, yellow, purple, and blue leather with a black Swoosh and lime green detailing. A white sole compliments the veiled color scheme, bringing it to the forefront. Instructions to safely remove the upper are provided with the sneakers so anyone can feel confident in the customization choices they want to make.

If you missed out on the Nike Air Force 1 LX Tear Away White (W) release this morning on the SNKRS app, do not fear: you can purchase a pair here.

A total of 108,000 textile items have been saved from landfills so far by the Converse Renew program. This week, Converse continues its upcycling mission with the help of Carhartt and UK-based vintage retailer Beyond Retro to release the Converse Renew Chuck Taylor 70 Carhartt WIP. For this collaboration, 1,000 pre-owned canvas Carhartt work jackets, pants, and overalls were sourced and sorted into three color ranges: navy, brown, and black. From there, the canvas was cut into Chuck 70 silhouette patterns and assembled in a multi-paneled design.

The Chuck Taylor 70 Carhartt WIP consists of a multi-paneled vintage canvas upper with white stitching and detailing. Carhartt branded patches are embroidered on the front of each tongue while Converse branding appears on the reverse side. A white sole with co-branded detailing on the heel completes this upcycled design.

Look for the Converse Renew Chuck Taylor 70 Carhartt WIP to be available on May 28th in limited quantities at select retailers, Carhartt-WIP.com, and Converse.com.

For the first time in ten years, Jordan Brand is bringing back the Jordan 13 Retro Flint. The Flint colorway originally released in the spring of 1998 ahead of Michael Jordanโ€™s final playoff run with the Chicago Bulls. As part of a wider โ€œTruest to the OGโ€ collection, Jumpman has restored the Flint 13 to its original form in its third time seeing a retro.

The Jordan 13 Retro Flint features a navy mesh upper with white tumbled leather and grey suede underlays. Reflective 3M detailing on the upper, French Blue Jumpman branding on the tongue, and a branded hologram on the side ankle marks the finishing touches on this revived OG.

If you missed out on the Jordan 13 Retro Flint shock-drop that occurred during the final airing of the ESPN docuseries The Last Dance, you have another chance to cop at select retailers and on the SNKRS app at a retail price of $190 USD.

Nike Air Trainer 3 Viotech

For the first time since 2002, Nike is bringing back the Nike Air Trainer 3 Viotech. The Air Trainer 3 (originally called the โ€œAir Trainer SCโ€) made its debut in 1988 and grew to stardom alongside legendary dual-threat pro athlete Bo Jackson. Bouncing from football practices with the Raiders to batting practice with the Royals, Bo needed a trainer that was versatile enough to handle any type of drill thrown his way. Nike matched Boโ€™s multifaceted prowess with the Air Trainer 3 and the rest is history.

The Nike Air Trainer 3 Viotech features a purple perforated leather upper with smooth pink overlays, and a yellow Swoosh. Grey midfoot straps, winged plastic lace cages around the ankle, and Air Max units tie together this cross-functional design.

Expect the Nike Air Trainer 3 Viotech to release at select retailers and on the SNKRS app next Monday, June 1st at a retail price of $130 USD.
