With the sports world on hold, the release of Panini Mosaic basketball hobby boxes was pushed back until this past Wednesday. However, that did not stop the hype around this product. The Panini Mosaic basketball blaster box includes exclusive Orange Fluorescent parallels numbered to 25. The checklist includes world-class rookies, Zion Williamson and Ja Morant. Like the rest of the boxes on this list, these blasters retailed for $20. They are now selling on StockX at an average of $65.
3. 2019-20 Panini Donruss Optic Basketball Blaster Box
Panini Donruss Optic basketball was back for its fourth year in 2019-20. The vintage feel of the Rated Rookies cards is the cornerstone of this set. Blaster boxes offer the chance to hit exclusive Rated Rookie Signature Checkerboard parallels numbered to 1 for players like Zion, Ja, RJ Barrett, Rui Hachimura, Coby White and more! These flew off the shelves at retail stores but can be found on StockX for around $80.
2. 2019-20 Panini Prizm Basketball Blaster Box
There is no question that 2019-20 has been a massive year for the Hobby. Just like the past several years the highlight of retail products was the release of Panini Prizm basketball in December. The 2019-20 Panini Prizm blaster has exclusive Purple Wave and Green Pulsar Prizms and one memorabilia or autograph card on average. The most valuable non-numbered parallels, Prizm Silvers, can also be found in these blaster boxes. As always, these are the most valuable non-numbered parallels in the set. Zion and Ja are obviously the two biggest rookie hits. However, this set also includes LeBron’s first Prizm card in a Lakers Jersey. 2019-20 Prizm blasters continue to rise in value and can now be found on StockX for over $120.
1. 2018-19 Panini Prizm Basketball Blaster Box
The rookie class of 2018-19 is on pace to become a special one. Needless to say, Luka Doncic and Trae Young headline the group. Luka and Trae went from battling it out for Rookie of the Year 12 months ago to both making their first All-Star Game in the 2019-20 season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also began to establish himself as a key factor in a surprising Oklahoma City Thunder team this year. All of their rookie cards can be found in a 2018-19 Panini Prizm blaster box. Like 2019-20’s version of Prizm, these blasters include one autograph or memorabilia card on average. The box also includes the chance to find retail exclusive Green Prizms and as always, Silvers. These blasters are available on StockX for just over $125.
