Give us some background on your current involvement in the hobby.

PH: I’d describe my current hobby involvement as a YouTuber, collector, investor. I love making videos featuring trading cards and products that I’m into as well as speculating card values. Tracking market movements is super interesting to me.

What’s your earliest memory of Trading Cards?

PH: My earliest memory of trading cards is when my parents bought me a box of 1992 Topps. I wrote my name on the back of all the cards so other kids at school would know they were mine haha.
The Phil's Pulls YouTube Channel is growing its audience every single day

How did you get started in the Hobby? If you took a break, how did you get back in?

PH: I was into cards off and on my entire childhood but I think what really got me back in was when I had my first baseball card of myself in 2004. Seeing how much trading cards had changed really sparked a new passion for it. Numbered cards, autos, etc were such a cool new thing we hadn’t seen before.

Who are you currently investing in? Why?

PH: I’m currently investing in a few of the game’s up and coming players like Fernando Tatis Jr. and Bo Bichette. We’ve seen a trend of these young guys coming up and being superstars out of the gate (Acuna/Soto) and I think players are more prepared than ever to shine in the big leagues. I’m also picking up cards of Luis Robert and Wander Franco. I think they’re gonna be studs.

What is the biggest hit you’ve ever pulled?

PH: The biggest hit i’ve ever pulled was a Cy Young oversized cut auto out of 2020 HOF Transcendent. It was for a group break so unfortunately the card does not belong to me. The biggest card i’ve ever pulled for myself was a Griffey/Trout dual auto diamond book 1/1 out of 2020 Diamond Icons.
