StockX Scoreboard - Halloween Edition

Jesse Einhorn

It’s time for another edition of the weekly StockX Sneaker Scoreboard!

Yeezys dominated the market this week, holding 3 of the top 5 spots on our leaderboard. The Powerphase Calabasas was the top performer, up 68% in trade volume from the previous week. The Yezzy “Zebra” was close behind, despite being off 45% from last week, when it led the market. Coming in third: the Air Max 97 UNDFTD, which has placed in the top 3 in each of the past 4 weeks.

Readers will note that we’ve added a new data visualization to the Scoreboard: a “Last 7 Days” line chart for each sneaker, providing a quick-glimpse view of trading activity over the previous week. We’re also rolling out a new weekly “Market Movers” feature, here and on Instagram:

With this feature, we spotlight sneakers that are experiencing extreme swings in value. To qualify, sneakers must have a minimum of 5 sales in the past 7 days, which will limit the influence of statistical outliers.

This week, the biggest price increase belonged to the core black adidas EQT Support 93/17, which managed to climb a full 33% in value. On the other side of the market, the Russell Westbrook “PE” themed edition of the Air Jordan XXX1 – the Why Not? Cement– fell 23 points, from an average price of $209 last week to just $161 this week. Perhaps we’ll see the price rebound (pun intended!) in the coming days, with Russ entering the history books on Saturday as the first player to ever score a triple-double against every NBA team except his own.
