The Women’s World Cup is in full effect, and the whole world has football fever. StockX got in on the action as well, putting together the “Our Time” video below with some of our favorite female footballers to get you all ready for the finals.
Scattered with references to Nike’s famous ‘The Cage’ ad from 2002, the film sees Gabby George, Beth England, Katie Zelem and Laura Rafferty take on Millie Bright, Carly Telford, Fran Kirby, Caroline Weir and Tash Harding in a battle for the pitch, all whilst trying to keep their kicks looking fresh.

Laura Rafferty, Defender for Northern Ireland and Brighton & Hove Albion
After winning the Women’s Championship and FA Cup with Chelsea, Laura moved to Brighton in 2017, winning the PFA Community Champions Award last season. Her fit for the day included the Off-White Air Max 97 “Menta” and the Supreme x Nike Plaid Hoodie from their FW18 collaboration.
Fran Kirby, Striker for England and Chelsea
On the back of scoring 19 goals in 31 appearances, Fran was named PFA and FWA Women’s Player of the Year last season. Once labelled “Mini Messi” by her national team manager, Fran will be hoping to shine as brightly at the World Cup as she did while wearing the Atmos Patchwork Tracksuit and Air Max 2 Light on our London pitch.
Katie Zelem, Midfielder for England and Manchester United
An attacking midfielder with two good feet, Katie joined European heavyweights Manchester United from Italian side Juventus at the beginning in 2018, reaching double figures for her new side in her debut season. We put Katie back in black and white for a day, courtesy of the Yeezy 350 v2 Zebra and Supreme x Comme des Garcons split logo hoodie.
Carly Telford, Goalkeeper for England and Chelsea
Telford began her career at Sunderland in her native North-East, before signing for Chelsea in 2011. She captained the Blues in their 2012 FA Cup final defeat to Birmingham City. She has been part of two World Cup squads, most recently in 2015 when the Lionesses won a bronze medal in Canada. Carly went from the penalty box, to box logo for the day, rocking a Supreme BOGO Crewneck paired with Parra’s collaborative Air Max 1.
